Day 28...We Made it!!

Got this morning and di 30 mins on the treadmill and then did the video on line. I did go shopping today too..but I did not buy anything. I had to buy a baby shower gift. But one present I did get was to fit back into a pair of jeans that had gotten too small! Woohoo!!

This is the last workout and challenge that I will post in the Team. I'll send one final SparkMail with information, tips, and our final winners (including the $500 Grand Prize winner) on Sunday! That SparkMail will also answer your burning questions about what is going to happen to this SparkTeam and the workout videos, so please be patient.

Your Bonus Challenge for Saturday (optional) is to go shopping! You've worked hard for four weeks straight. You've probably lost inches, toned up by building some lean muscle, and improved your fitness level overall. All of these accomplishments should help boost your confidence level so that you feel more comfortable in your own skin. This weekend, put on your old jeans or try on some new ones (especially if you've lost weight). Even if you don't buy anything, find the fit that flatters you most and enjoy yourself. I also encourage you to update your SparkPage and/or blog with your final stats, comparing them to the stats you started with on January 4. Remember: even more than weight or inches lost, think about all the other things you've noticed or accomplished in 4 weeks' time.

Completed video for today and polan on doing 45 mins of cardio at lunch today. Will not do the challenge as we have a class meeting tonight and we will have dinner at the place.

Your Bonus Challenge for Friday (optional) is to cook dinner at home. Often, people dine out more (and fall "off the wagon" of their healthy eating plans) over the weekend. Why not start your weekend off right with a healthy, home-cooked meal instead? Make it fun by getting the kids involved or inviting over some company! Another bonus to cooking at home is that you know EXACTLY what you're eating. People who cook and eat at home are more likely to consume fewer calories and more nutrients, fiber, fruits and veggies. Two more days to go!! Woohoo!! I will only get in my aerobics class today as I have a doctors appt for my two year surgery anniversary..can't believe its been that long! But I will not have a lunch break and will not get in my 30 minutes of cardio at that time. I plan to go and dnoate blood today after I leave the doctors office..they have been calling and calling and calling but I have not had time to stop and donate. So since I am taking time off today anyway..may as well scratch that off my list too.

Your Bonus Challenge for Tuesday (optional) is to fill up on fiber. This is an important nutrient found in many plant foods like fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Fiber is slow to digest, so it keeps you full longer, and helps prevent spikes and lows in energy levels so you can stay on an even keel, too. Most people need between 25 and 35 grams of fiber each day, and you can add it to your Nutrition Tracker to see how well you're doing. Do your best to meet your goal, but don't overdo it. Too much fiber IS a bad thing. Check out this article for more info on adding fiber to your diet.
