I thought I was done...

with my run that is :) I had gone a couple of laps, and was starting my cool down, at least I thought I was. Then my song came on my iPod "SteadyOn" by Point of Grace. I could not just walk...I HAD to run and run I did! I did one last push for the whole song! (4.48 mins) emoticon emoticon

I am feeling good and accomplished. I did a 2.92 run

I listen to Casting Crowns when I run. I started to ask my son download some 70's songs for me, then I said, never mind, God has gotten me through my 5 K's up until now, I think I will stick with Him! He ALWAYS sticks with me after all! emoticon

Eating to live vs. Living to eat

I have been really noticing that when I eat it's for nutrition and fuel, not purely for pleasure. Now I do not eat food I don't like but I am more willing than ever to eat au'natural. For example today I had spinach with tuna...I just spiced up the tuna with s/p, herbs and a squeeze of lemon. It was so good I could have eaten another serving LOL The tuna did have oil (not my usual choice) but I got the air tight package and didn't realize it was in oil, but it did not need to be drained. Bottom line is that I didn't drowned it in dressing emoticon

So what I am saying is I think I am turning that corner...I eat to live. I used to live to eat...and that was killing me!

How can I burn 3472 calories this week and be UP .7? emoticon I am trying not to be discouraged but I did 2 work outs yesterday and burned over 1000 calories in ONE day and am up on the scale this AM.

    Could be water weight from the retention in your muscles. I always go up the day after hard workouts because of all the water I drink that is held in the muscles. It will go down! Just keep working out and you'll see the results!
