Well yesterday despite being defeated I walked for 45 mins then took BodyPump. I was crabby and down all day :(

This morning I went for a run and had a great time! Of course I have a limited time to do so and had to stop but I felt like I could run forever. I am feeling better and less hard on myself.

It is my birthday after all ;)

battle...I am about to just give up! Maybe my age is catching up with me? Maybe I am doing this all wrong? I just want to shed some weight so I can be happy with myself and feel healthy.

    Don't give up...even your name "Steadyon" says that you will continue steadily (is that a word????) emoticon We all go through plateaus...I have had one for about 6 months! But the good news is that I weighed myself Saturday and I was down 2 pounds emoticon Hang in there...you CAN do it!!!! emoticon

    It'll be alright, don't get discouraged! It's happening! Even if your not seeing the results you want to see, IT'S happening! Continue to make the right eating choices and working out! The rest will fall into place, you'll see. emoticon

    Remember that feeling you had finishing that 5km race and fitting in your jeans. Use that to motivate yourself, if things are getting boring mix it up a bit. Like Exerciseella says try new recipes, try a new exercise or buy yourself a new piece of clothing.

This is part of the journey.

    It is exhausting! But it is much easier to give up. If losing weight and keeping it off was easy then everyone would be skinny! It's hard! The most solid solution that you can get is simply to eat less calories mostly in vegetables. Think of creative ways to cook and try out new recipes with new veggies that you have never tried! For example, ever had spaghetti squash lasagne's? It's so yummy! Just use smaller amounts of light cheese and lean turkey hamburger. You can do this! emoticon

Had a good run! I ran the most of 2 miles and didn't suffer like I did last time ;)
