Yep, that's what it is, interference. A computer that wants to shut down a LOT, with seemingly no rhyme or reason (I've taken it back to factory specs, keep doing updates, etc.), and then the other day I stretched (just out of the blue) upward and put something in my back out of place (affected the under side of my shoulder blade area). I was just "sore" so didn't realize it was from that stretch until I thought back on it. Then I was walking across a parking lot to get to a work meeting, wearing my rain boots (they have maybe up to an inch heel at most) when my ankle turned outward quite fast due to my foot hitting blacktop, that was bulged up, that I hadn't seen. Exercised the next day anyway, feeling the ankle some, and toward the end of the exercise really feeling the shoulder blade catch. I finished but then got on my back onto my coffee table and pushed into areas of the back with the edge of it and I believe put that back in place that had had something out of place. It's sore today, but not the same kind of soreness it had been before. This one is low key. :) Later, I walked the dogs anyway....figuring it wouldn't be done otherwise, while wearing an ankle brace. The ankle-it's weird, I hear a lot of clicking at times and in different areas- the pain goes up the leg at times, into the foot at times. I'm thinking it might be something out of alignment in the ankle area too. Praying it will also go back into place.
Oh but the good news is, I did lose 1.4 pounds this week. :)

I have been having major computer problems. I finally got this computer working well (looks like), and I come to spark people and find out I forgot to log in when I used hubby's computer to come to spark people yesterday! So much for that spark streak. Ah well.

Tomorrow begins week 8 on the carb cycling plan for me, which means I eat high carb (it's still hard for me to even get to 1500 calories for such as suggested for women) every day (It's called a slingshot week, and comes after three weeks of carb cycling low and high carb combo days), with a reward day, like today, at the end of that week. It's to rev the metabolism for the next few weeks of weight loss on whichever plan I do. I want to stick with turbo, but do classic (alternates low carb/high carb days) for the week of Thanksgiving so that I can have starches/fruit for the holiday dinner.
I almost feel like it's silly to do a slingshot week to rev up my metabolism, right after losing 2 lbs in a week, but I trust/know Chris Powell knows his science on all this, and will go for what is expected. :)

Red palm oil likely helped me lose weight this week too.
I just started using raw red palm oil this last week (don't used processed). It's fascinating. It looks a bit like baked sweet potato (the inside part), but melts in your hand when you touch it. It's orange. The taste is light. Lots of A in it. :) It revs the metabolism right away, unlike other fats. It has antioxidants/omega 3- it lowers cholesterol, helps fight heart disease- it can remove placque build up in arteries! It's an anti-inflammatory. It has all kinds of great health benefits! Check out what Dr. Oz has to say about it.

Yep, even with eating crazily everything I wanted on reward day, which was last Sunday for me, (well, you get to have up to 1000 calories more than you normally eat in a day, on your reward/cheat day- the goal being to surprise your metabolism, throwing it into high gear), I made sure I did the shapers (nine minutes on weekdays of doing three exercises that strengthen things you already need those muscles to do- like squatting toward the floor and back up, etc), and an hour of aerobics (though beginners can start with just five minutes a day and work their way up to as much as an hour)- making sure I ate the way I was supposed to on the plan I had chosen (turbo plan, two low carb days follow reward day, then there is a high carb day, and then two more low carb days followed by another high carb day- the reasoning is fascinating but to put it simply it also tricks your metabolism). The scale told me today (you always weigh yourself the morning after a low carb day, toward the end of your week on the plan) that I was two pounds down!
The only thing different I did was to add turmeric. I had read about how it prevents you from adding fat to your body, and also cuts out fat you have already. It does a whole lot more for your health than that, but I'll leave that at that for now. I had been having some beef pretty regularly (trying to get it used up) and was worried about how fatty it seemed to me- but still felt I was losing weight- I really think adding the turmeric was the boost/help there).
So my goal of getting under 170 came to fruition this morning when the scale said I was .2 under that! lol YAY!
