Today's Healthy Reflection was all about giving your body the 8 hours it needs to heal, physically, emotionally, and mentally, from the beating you give it the other 16 hours of the day.

I really, really struggle with this. I have too many things to do! I know that I am not alone in feeling this, but I don't know how I can get done the things I am committed to doing in just 16 hours.

Right now I commute about 1.5-2 hours daily. This is eating into a huge chunk of my theoretical 16-hour window of productivity.

This is maybe the busiest time in my life right now. My fiance and I decided two weeks ago to get married this October, instead of next summer. So there are lots of decisions to be made about that. I have 7 days left at my current job, and I begin a new job August 8. In between that, I am traveling to NYC to work for 5 weeks at what will be a grueling teacher training Institute. The prep work for that alone is taking 2-3 hours per night. To top it all off, our lease is up in July so I am (supposed to be) packing.

I'd like to get 8 hours. I feel better when I do. But I just wasted 10 minutes blogging.

  


Recommitting

Today I am recommitting to my goal of 146! That is 26 more lbs... I have already lost 28! So, this week my goal is to go to yoga twice, walk home from downtown where the train drops me off on my off days (about 1.5 miles), and track all my exercise and food.

    Good luck!!! You've done so great to lose 28 pounds! The next 26 won't be easy, but you'll be there before you know it!!! Keep up the good work!
