Yesterday wasn't a great let's-eat-healthy day either. Part of the problem is that I let Irish soda bread come into the house two days ago. Apparently, I cannot keep my eating under control if I eat carb-heavy food for breakfast or lunch. It makes me want to snack and eat more carbs. I'm not saying that carbs are the problem. I'll gladly eat them later in the day. But I do know that if I start eating bread-like items as part of breakfast or lunch, the rest of the day usually goes downhill from there. Oops.
