So I haven't made much success this week

This week has been a bit of a wash-out. I didn't gain weight, so that's good. I didn't lose weight either. And I have no reason to expect that I should have. I didn't eat exceptionally well (I didn't eat poorly though) and I only made it to the gym on Monday. I'm hoping to get back there today.

I think to lose more weight, the gym needs to be a priority. Guess I should work on that...

    At least you didn't gain. I have gained the last 3 weeks in a row. This was after losing 15 pounds in 3 weeks. I gained 6 pounds week before last and roughly two more since. I'm not repeating those numbers if I have any control (which I know I do) in the matter. emoticon

Yesterday wasn't a great let's-eat-healthy day either. Part of the problem is that I let Irish soda bread come into the house two days ago. Apparently, I cannot keep my eating under control if I eat carb-heavy food for breakfast or lunch. It makes me want to snack and eat more carbs. I'm not saying that carbs are the problem. I'll gladly eat them later in the day. But I do know that if I start eating bread-like items as part of breakfast or lunch, the rest of the day usually goes downhill from there. Oops.

I'm hoping to be between 147 and 148lbs this time next week. That's losing anywhere between 1 and 2lbs. I think it's doable. Must work hard at the gym these next two days!
