Today's our 33rd anniversary! We are going to get away for the weekend. Looking for time away with hubby

Got a light dusting of snow yesterday afternoon/evening.

Well here we are at Thursday! Hubby and I finally found time to pick out a B&B to visit/stay for anniversary #33! It will be good to get away. If we stay home there is always something to do and we don't spend time together. It will be fun to putter around together. The area is supposed to be an artsy type area with small shops within walking distance. Should be fun just to explore together.

Also booked trip to see Daughter for her BD in February. Yipee! She was able to take some time off so we can go and explore together. I will get to see her new place.

Am working on getting our bedroom decorated...goal I've put off for 20 some years ...finishing other areas. Goal is to finish bedroom and do daughters room into a guest room instead of a storage room. Big goals for this year. Want to stop putting things off.

    Just having things scheduled and the plan more solid helps, I think, to get you going. You are on a "completion" streak!!! Keep rolling!! It will look so good and you will be so glad you did!! The get-way sounds special. DH & I often take a long weekend away just to reconnect. Which after 33 years you enjoy as much as 10 or less!!! enjoy!

Went to exercise last night. Felt so much better yesterday but today didn't rest well last night and am achey today...then thought about it...I was eliminating refined sugars the last day and last night ate some peanutbutter fudge my daughter in law had made. Wondering if that bothers me...mmmm...will have to observe that and see. Learning all kinds of new things about myself and learning to be observant

    Good for you!! You are listening to your body and that is not always easy. That sugar can really create havoc. I notice the same thing when I eat sugar...aches in the knees and sometimes hard to get up after sitting. Hope you reach your Goals in 2011!! Elaine

Had a good day at work, took mom to exercise last night and came home exhausted and feeling lousy. Went to bed at 8:30 and feeling so much better today. Guess just must have been tired. Though I had rested up during the weekend??! Oh well at least I feel better today.

Mom called last night and is going to exercise with neighbor tomorrow. Glad she is also going with her. She needs to do something with someone else once in awhile and I know daytime exercise is better for her than evening. Thankfully we went last night so she is familiar with it again. Ended up being about 3 weeks since we exercised in the evening due to schedule and holiday company.

Off to the dentist first thing this get a move on it.

Well it's back to work and getting back on track with eating. Get those high calorie holiday foods out of the house.

Wondering what this New Year will bring. Am working on some goals for the New Year. Surprisingly I accomplished a lot of goals last year except for weight loss. But was consistent on working out and drinking water. Went through a lot of changes last year...boss retired, new boss/job and then moved to new location and adapted to a moody co-worker and office learning to do a new job marketing and showcasing our business to the community.

Hubby's contract job may be over in two months so may have new adjustments to make. Learning I am a stress eater and if I'm in physical pain-eater. Guess I learned eating made me feel better along life's way...but it really doesn't make me feel better.

Going to finish up some projects this year...never decorated bedroom...always left it for last. Going to work on that this year. Going to go through daughter's room with all the boxes from son and daughter and clean that out and make a guest room in there. Gonna have another garage sale and clean things out. Gonna work on my attitude towards mother in law. Going to try and make occasional girl day with her to just go out and have fun...or go have coffee and sit and talk. Goals I can accomplish - just have to focus on it. If you don't have goals you wander around. I need somewhere to focus and head towards. Going to work on what I eat and how much....gonna be a GREAT YEAR!

    Sounds like a plan. Look at what you have accomplished in 2010. Keep a positive attitude about work. I feel your pain with that. Think positive thoughts.
