Took co-worker out to celebrate her passing her state license exam. She was so thrilled we had done that for her. Had a wonderful time. She was so excited and bubbly. Glad we did it.

Now to get back on tract. Been traveling and eating out Way too much!

Busy day at work today...what day isn't recently???? Will meet my boss at our old office to start closing down things today. We've moved everything we needed to our current office and the rest will go in storage or get rid of. Will be glad when it is all done!

Will go to exercise with Mom tonight...if she feels ok after her flu shot today.

So glad you celebrated with your co-worker and made her passing her state exams a great experience overall. Sometimes it is the little things that mean a lot to us.

Glad you had a good time on the weekend. Yes it seems like you have been at this office move for a long time. I am sure you will be glad when things are finally over with. Just take it one step at a time. Now it is time to get back to eating more regular and getting back to YOUR plan of attack. Have a great week and remember to be good to yourself. Monday Morning

Got home around 11:30 last night from Evansville, IN. Had a wonderful time. Road a 2 hour train ride through the countryside. That was fun. Ate way too much but it was good to connect with old friends.

Off to a busy week. Our staff is taking a co-worker out for dinner for passing her state license. What an accomplishment for her. She thought she couldn't do it and she did on her first try. A real hurdle overcome for her. Now she is so excited. I am so proud of her. One co-worker is "too busy" to have dinner with matter what night it is. Think it hurt the co-worker who has worked so hard and has a good attitude...but we will go on in spite of us. Our boss, his wife and kids are also going. It is a major accomplishment we are all celebrating...except one of us. That is so sad to me. We need to celebrate everyone's great accomplishments. She will go to lunch with us Wednesday to celebrate birthdays...because it's on the clock! If my boss paid her tonight...she would go. How sad. Wonder how she'll be in the future as we grow and change and become a team on fire. Will we leave her behind in the dust?

Off we go to another busy week....

Well we made it to Friday. Had busy day at work yesterday with early off site staff meeting. Went well. Business is doing well. Exciting times.

Got my shelf up in my office,

Heading out of town after work for the weekend to Evansvill Indiana to visit friends. Rainy this AM but hopefully it will stop. Looking forward to seeing some pretty fall colors.

Up early today. Used to have problems with that and was just thinking..."Man it's been a long while since I had these middle of the night wakings!" Well guess they are back...or they are this AM Got an early meeting off site and I'm in charge of the McDonald's run for the staff! Have to get some things together and maybe that was on my mind. Was afraid I couldn't get everything ready for the early meeting.

Went to exercise last night but Mom was dizzy so when half way around and left as she was sitting on the sidelines looking icky. So took her home after picking her up something to eat at fast food (I didn't buy anything for me) and sat with her awhile. Don't know if it was low blood sugar or what. Had stopped by during the day and she was eating soup so I think she was eating some yesterday. We try to keep watch that she does eat. This is the season/month Dad passed away so we are trying to watch her and see how she's doing. We are gone again this weekend to visit friends in Evansville about 4 hours away...wonder if she'll pull...I'm she already knows we're leaving...or if she's puny because she's thinking of dad. She perked up after drinking a vanilla shake some. Hubby came by when he got home and we sat with her until 7:15 or so and she perked up. Wonder if it was sugar. Not sure how much she's eating. Will have to keep an eye on it. She isn't diabetic but if she doesn't eat right wonder how that will impact her. Thought she was having a GOOD DAY...when I stopped in she told me she had driven to the Post Office to mail a package. That is the FIRST TIME in two years she has driven by herself. She did drive my hubby to church Sunday at his suggestion...but it's been a year or so since she has even done that. Thinks she can't do it or she'll get lost. We have been super busy recently and don't have time to run her around a lot. We get her out a couple times a week but not as often as she would like. There just isn't time.

Looked as someone else's blog and they talked about office moves and how their eating habits were slipping. It made me reflect on the past few months of changes and office move and hectic schedule. Trying to make good choices but eating on the run and have been out of town and notice I'm packing it back on, Life has just been crazy recently. I have been keeping up with exercising but not as much at night time with mom as I'd like to. Like I said we're gone this weekend and next weekend I'll be gone to visit a friend who lives about 2 1/2 hours away as her hubby is diagnosed with terminal cancer and I haven't been to visit her in a couple of years and want to spend some time with them and see how she's doing. I still have garage sale stuff to put away. Guess it will still be here when I get back to a slower pace in a few weeks.

Time away at my class reunion was relaxing and good last weekend...but now it seems a long time ago.

Having lunch with an old neighbor today. She has gone through a rough divorce and is finally at peace with her life and moving on.

Best get one with the day...

Well we made it through the EXPO and everything went smooth except we ran out of door prize drawing tickets and my boss went back to the office (thankfully our one office is pretty close by) and made more. Got home around 8 pm and tired. We made it through another show successfully done. Still trying to learn boss. I'm not sure what makes him "tick" yet. Guess I take him at his word.Set the alarm but somehow we overslept this AM. Rarely happens but sure did on with the day!

Glad your Expo was a success. It must make you feel good. Tired I can believe, you have been through a lot the last couple of weeks. I hope your day today was a quieter one. Taking your boss at face value is the best thing to do. Only after time and exposure will you can truly understand a little bit of what makes him tick. Remember to be good to yourself, you deserve it. emoticon emoticon emoticonLynne

I'm glad everything went OK at the show. Taking the new boss at face value is probably best.

I hope you have a quiet day today to recover from yesterday.
