It has been a crazy week...not getting home to stay until 9 pm or later. Then I just want to fall into bed...Spent some time trying to work on Expo display for Tuesday but kept falling asleep last night.

Will have to get packed for my trip this pm sometime. I leave Thursday after work! Work has been crazy too! Having meeting today at new location to define everyone's jobs.

These are exciting times but chaotic times too! Trying to keep my head above water and to keep moving forward.

The week is whizzing by and it seems there is never enough time to get everything done.

Got to get to work on trade show which is next Tuesday. Boss wants me to work in another office on Monday so won't have time work on exhibit that day as will need to be in that office covering for soemone else.

Think my new office is getting more settled. I still come home exhausted. Had to go back in and work on my computer last didn't eat until 9:30 or so last night. Did get mom to exercise after work though.

Looking forward to trip back for 35th class reunion. Am hoping to get some down time and rest and visit with remaining family.

Off to begin the day

Made it through the weekend. Boy they just blow through fast. Didn't get any house cleaning done :( oh well.

Ready to start the week. Will be shorter as taking Friday off to go to my 35th class reunion about 8 hours away. Will be driving by myself. Am looking forward to taking time for myself to reflect, look at my goals, spend time with God etc. Also looking forward to visiting with my last remaining aunt and uncle, brother and old family friend. Also looking forward to spending time with classmates. We no longer try to impress each other...just thankful we have made it this far. Quite a few are professional muscians and they are supposed to have a jam session sometime during the weekend! Going to Friday night football game..boy that will bring back old memories..

Went in a couple of times to work on my office and it is taking shape nicely. Hubby put in wireless mouse and keyboard and that cleaned up my small office with less cables We put up some pictures and cork board on the wall...starting to look like my office...just much smaller

Took mother-in-law to decorator showcase house yesterday. Decorators decorated an 1880 home. It was gorgeous. So beautiful and the view from the windows was gorgeous. She really enjoyed it. Stopped by farm market afterwards and purchased pumpkins and gourds. Mom really enjoys things like that...just haven't had time to do much with her recently. She really perks up when I do something like that with her. Then went for coffee. Hubby met up with us after his train flee market. We had a good time. Then took mom home and hubby and I went back to my office to finish up some things...and then took a drive. The leaves are starting to turn and it feels like fall.

Ready to start the week...

I'm so glad you MADE time to fit in some time with your MIL. You could have found an excuse this time too but you went & some of your reward was your enjoyment of hers. It takes such small things to please them and usually costs only in time and maybe gas or lunch. I regret the time I didn't take with my mom & mil as they are both with the Lord.
You will so enjoy the ftball game (unless very cold. Not sure where you live but it is fall evenings ya know!!
Also enjoy spending time with the BAND and your friends. At these times there will never be the same group be together again. Someone will be missing--maybe just unable to come. Don't know why I'm sounding negative. REally don't mean too. Just know our days are slipping away and we want to make the most of our time w/dear friends.

Glad to hear you had a good weekend, although it doesn't sound like you got much rest and relaxation for yourself. I hope you have a great time at your reunion. Isn't it nice that you don't have to impress each other, you can just enjoy each other. Let us know how it went when you get back okay? God Bless Lynne

Making it through transition at work. Yesterday was day 2 and things went more my computer up and working. Learning where things are and working on assimilating the files...what a big job. Mostly getting my head around everything.

Fall is upon us. We have a yard full of leaves already.

To wonderful drive to Cincinnati (about an hour away) and met up with son and daughter-in-law for dinner. Had a wonderful time with them. Usually do!

Today housework, yard work, hair cut. Tomorrow church and taking Mom to Decorator Show Home. It's an old home decorators have redone. It sounds really neat. We are both looking forward to going while hubby goes to a model train show and swap meet.

Well we made it to Friday. Had a melt down before going to work and hubby was supportive. We made a date to go out in the car and dinner together. Made something to look forward to. Don't know why change is so hard. Morning was a little rough...couldn't find things...didn't know how to work the was crazy busy, couldn't get logged on to the computer I was using until I can get mine up and going. Didn't even have time for lunch. But I got things put into my desk and I got better and calmer. Boss asked me to assimilate all the files. Not wanting to do that but no one wants to do it and I might as well suck it up and do it and get it done. I don't have a lot of other things on my plate right night and the other two girls sell. Everyone is "supposed to do it" when they have time...but it's not going to happen...everyone will put it off (like I want to) I might as well set my mind to it. He said after the files get assimilated...then we'll start working on my new position and working on the budget and plans for next year, So guess if I want that to get get going. There are about 3000 files to assimilate and he thinks it will take a week or two and wants me to thin them out and pull the canceled ones...Thinking I will get some thinned and assimilated...won't be running back and forth to my computer to check and see if they are active or not at this time and he said that was OK. Thinking it might take longer...but got through B's and started c's maybe it won't take too long. Waiting for wireless card for computer so I can get it back together. Things will be fine and I will excel there...just have to wrap my mind around it. Got home changed clothes and then hubby and I went for a nice long ride and dinner. Enjoy just getting away. Ate too much...guess I'm a stress eater...but it felt good and I felt so much better afterwards...tried to make better choices broiled chicken medallions with vegetables. It was yummy. Did eat the brown bread brought to the table though. It was soooo good! Fell more refreshed and relaxed today. It's Friday....

Its always tough starting a new job and learning everything. I am finally comfortable in my job and know what I'm doing, but I do remember going through that transistion period where I was overwhelmed. Just take it one day at a time (or even one task at a time) and you will be fine!!

Better choices are always better! I know that the last time I binged I chose better. I figured that at least I was on the right track, even if I was binging... LOL!
