Went to Cincinnati Red's Baseball game. Son and Daughter-in-law met us there. Our office had a bunch of unused tickets. Got to share some with others. We had nosebleed seats but it was fun. Made for a short night.

Knee feeling some better. Will try to get back to exercising tomorrow AM and see how it goes.

Had a wonderful day with daughter and EJ. Took them to airport and flight was delayed and they would miss their connecting flight so we brought them back for another evening! They fly out at 8 am today. Thankful we live close to the airport. Enjoyed more time with them.
Hopefully she will be back in September for her 10 year high school reunion. She is getting ready to graduate with her second BS degree in less than a month but not going through ceremonies this time. First time was teaching this time is speech therapy. But she will have to go for her Master's to do anything with it. She sees all kinds of speech problems with children and wants to head her career in that direction.

Off to work today and then our office had tickets for the Cincinnati Reds Game tonight so we'll be rushing off to Cincinnati for the game. Son and daughter in law are going to meet up with us for the game.

Knee is doing better. Got in an hour walk with daughter last evening.

Just one day off work seemed so nice...all my extra rest will probably be gone after going to BB game tonight..ha!ha!

Praying knee gets better so I can get back to working out again....I know...slowly. Have read about other people's frustration with injuries and now I know what they mean....

Magnificient Monday

Last day with my daughter. She heads out tonight back to Florida. We have packed in a full weekend. She got to spend a lot of time with two of her friends and husbands, Grandma and her brother and sister in law and us.

I've gotten a lot of rest and I still feel tired. Took the day off to spend with daughter. She has to take test for school online and then we plan to take a drive.

Enjoying our precious times together.

Sunday Afternoon

Have had a wonderful weekend with my kids. Grandma has really enjoyed herself. She even went to the mall with us yesterday. She has really perked up. She went with us to BD party for Stephanie's BFF daughter and had the best time. She found an elderly lady and they just talked and laughed and enjoyed themselves. I was pleasantly surprised and amazed. She had a good time watching all the little kids running around. They are so cute when they are just learning to walk. Some are quite the social bugs and come around to all those sitting and smile and babble. What fun!

Got to come home and take a 3 hour nap. Boy that really felt good. Still have tomorrow off as daughter is leaving to fly back in the evening.

What a blessing it has all been. It feels like...for just that moment...all is OK...and your heart is filled with overflowing love and joy. What precious moments in life. I am so thankful to God for these moments. I cherish them and hold them close to my heart.

Just had a wonderful Friday evening. Chuck, EJ, Andy and Kristie had a blast golfing Friday. Stephanie got to spend the day with her BFF (why they came back for her daughter's first birthday) They met us for lunch (co-worker and I ) and we had a nice time.

I picked up mom and we went for pizza and then for icecream. We had such a good time. Thought Mom was going to bust a gut laughing so hard. When we get together we are quite humerous. It has been way to long since we have been together like this and just laughed and laughed at how funny we are. Mom really enjoyed herself.

It felt good with everyone under one roof. Like a mother hen my babies are all under my wing.

This morning we are having made to order omelettes made by my son or scramble eggs...whatever they want. Going to pick up grandma around 10ish and bring her over.

What a wonderfull time we are having. It will be over too quickly...but enjoying our time together. So precious to me. My heart feels like it's going to burst...just the "right feeling" of us all being together. It's almost like everything is OK just for this moment. It's like my Spirit has been needing this "Fix" for awhile.
