Off to School

Up an hour early to prepare for school today. Leaving 1 1/2 hour earlier than usual. Driving about a half hour away for Life insurance school. Taking classes for 2 1/2 days and then studying hard and scheduling to take the state exam in a week...that's my goal.

Had a busy weekend...some down time. Met friends passing through town for dinner last night. It's been out to eat every day. This week hopefully that will stop. Maybe I can fit in some lunchtime walking.

Off to make it a great day and try to get my brain stimulated with learning something new!

We made it to the weekend!

Made a big breakfast for company. They left around 11 am and I am exhausted. Worn out etc. Not sure why. It's rainy today and hard to get myself moving. Trying to do laundry. Have dinner out with club tonight. Tomorrow church and trial run to where I'm in class this week. Want to see where it is exaclty and how long it takes to get there.

Hubby also informed me we have missionary friends stopping by tomorrow afternoon.

Start Life school on Monday. Then study like crazy to pass my state test to get my life insurance license. I can do it!

Keep plugging along. Man we ate out so much this last week for birthdas at work....you name it we celebrated this week and boy did the scale show it this AM UGH!

Off to keep plugging away at getting things cleaned up.

Fabulous Friday

UGH! I was on my way home from getting my hair done and visiting friends wanted to take us out to eat at 8 pm. I wasn't even hungry....so we met up at Ruby Tuesday's. They may as well cart me off the the Fat Farm. This week has been so bad! UGH!

Next week in class M-W. Going to class for my life license. Will study for a week and then take the state exam. Two of my co-workers in another office can't pass the test. I'm going to know that I can do it and will keep doing it until I pass it. My boss is paying for it so I might as well get all the certifications I can. Seems like I'm trained in the insurance field so might as well keep going. See where this journey takes me.

Friends heading home tomorrow morning. Need to get caught up on some laundry and cleaning up and then hubby informed me we have company coming in Sunday evening for a visit. Don't think they are staying the night. Will be good to see our friends Sunday evening.

Celebrated co-worker's from another office's birthday yesterday and boss pays for us to meet at a restaurant. It was nice! It has helped us become more of a team instead of us against them.

Off to make it a great day! Working with my favorite co-worker. We work well together!

  


What a Week!

Seems like a week of celebrations! Had my lunch packed and boss treated us all to lunch yesterday. Didn't really want to go but he always shares what is going on and decided not to miss out on it.

Today birthday lunch with both offices for a birthday at O'Charlie's. Eat out, celebrate all week...UGH!

Not getting in my noontime walks or packed lunch.
It's just a week and I can get through it....so much for the challenge this week.

I have had fun and enjoyed our company...we just eat too much.

With company here it's been rough with food intake. I do good at breakfast and lunch but preparing a meal for all of us and eating Easter leftovers...well this week is really packing on the pounds. I know they are temporary and the ham makes me retain water for awhile...but hate seeing the scale go up.

Still getting in my AM exercise and lunch walks when possible. Not getting to Curves this week.

    I had a bad week last week and was up 2 pounds at my Curves weigh-in. But I am back on track this week. It is the only way, just get back into the routine emoticon
