I really need a plan for the upcoming holidays because, we are visiting our cousins, and there is going to be lot of cooking, home made delicacies by my aunt, there is going to be lot of cookies and pastries for kids, so i really do a plan to remind me to stay on track!!!
one thing i have noticed is, since it is winter, i dont feel like drinking water at all, so i have to work on that need to drink at least 8 glasses of water, to stop these headaches and to flush all the toxins from my body, and ensure its healthy functioning.
stay away from temptation: ok that is going to be hard, so i am going to work on portion control and say no to second servings....
eat breakfast so i dont get very hungry at lunch and thro the day.
keep moving and aim at least to walk 30 mins/day
Aim for 10,000 steps /day
enjoy my time with family.

I have come a long way in areas of fitness and eating right. I have been participating in various rounds of BLC's and each and every round has taught me something new and i have discovered, learned and sometimes (mastered) many areas of fitness and right eating.
here are some of the things i have learned, or discovered that i can do it !
I have learnt to love my fitness. it is not a 20mins or 30 mins thing anymore it is my routine, and i love that it is part of my everyday activity. I feel incomplete if i dont take few fitness breaks
When I started the BLC i was purely a cardio person, all i knew was cardio, joining the BLC's and the various challenges helped me learn to train and tone my body. I really used to hate my Strength moves and used to initially do it just to earn the weekend challenge points but now, I love it, i love the fact that regular strength training helps me tone my body and makes me feel fit even though the scale dont show any lower numbers
I have learned to eat healthy food that are good for my body and mind and to resist temptations.
all the weekend challenges have helped me develop healthy habits like
drinking my water, sleep, me time and these definitely help in fighting stress and help in focusing about the essentials of life.
So A big thank you to BLC and my warrior team who have helped me learn so much about myself. its my teams constant support and motivation that keeps me going in this journey of weigtloss.

Today was a much better day, yesterday's Determination paid off. I worked out for almost 80 mins today, that is after a very long time, it is a big achievement for me, cause, after my knee injury getting 30-40 mins everyday has been difficult. so i am very today!
Now to the challenge part:
10 Things I am grateful for:
1. the modern technology which has made life easier.
2. The BLC team, and MY Warrior team that keeps me accountable and helps me
3. Indian grocers near my place, who still help me to cook and enjoy my indian food and help me celebrate all indian festivals.
4. to the farmer's market and whole food market near my place where i can get all me fresh freggies and whole grains, and thus helps me to make healthier choice
5. My two boys, who are my main motivation to keep going in this journey of weight loss.
6.My best Friend Archana, who walked the first 5k with me, and my cheer leader in this journey.
7. My knee Brace, which is helping me to get back on my legs.
8. My Dish tv which enables me to watch, all my indian channels and movies.
9. to fitness magazines, that give various fitness ideas to shake up a fitness rut!
10. Once again my very special spark friends like Madhu, Taty, Sunny, komal ji,Linda and my unknown spark friends who always take the time , to cheer, motivate and leave their wonderful comments on blogs, message boards , spark Page and friend feed. A big Thanks and to all of u. you have truly made a difference in my life.
Savory Truffle for today: sweets, and bugles chips,
healthy habit I have been working on today, is getting my fitness done, focusing, on 1 thing at a time and getting it done through out the day!
Overall I am very satisfied with today, and i going to wish and work towards making this a part of my everyday routine!

Day 3: yeah today i had to really push myself. it was a busy day, and i had to constantly remind myself to be on track. we went out for lunch today, i decided what i was going to eat and just ate that! yes no major temptation, so i didnt over eat. I was craving for something sweet after we came back home, But Thank God! there was luckily no chocolates or sweets at home, so i just opted for some Almonds and walked away from my kitchen! I only took few short walks today, no major exercise, i was feeling really tired so took it easy today! so that was my day, to come to the challenge part

Ok overall it has been an average day! but now I am going to bed with a determination to make tomorrow a much better day!
