What changed- what NOT

I thought of putting down my idea of what I think has changed in me in 2012.
So here is a quick checklist::

I am 5 kg lighter than in 2011 ( 70kg from 75)


I can run!!! yes I can jog for 2 km at a stretch(not always, but I can, I did that many times). I nore more huff and puff after 200 mts now.
RUNNING IS NOT A PUNISHMENT anymore. I actually look forward to weekends.


I do not feel th eneed to buy 'SPECIAL' food always. By this I mean, diet coke, fatless yogurt, wholegrain bread etc etc. And by this statement I mean I dont feel like doing something else than the rest of my family and feel different. I know I can do everything in moderation and thats the point.


I can live without eating potatos. I have not died in last 4 months emoticon

I know rice is not a poison and I can drink something when I am hungry and the hunger goes away for sometime.


Walking is always easy and doable. even if my thighs are sore, I can still walk a mile.

And now comes the things that have not quite changed:

I can not help comparing myself with others.... I still cant stop doing that.
I cant stop believing that all others as more beautiful than me... This is SICK, but I still cant help feeling miserable.


I cant still help myself when I am with Food. There are endless options and they all taste great. Aweeeee.... I am such a helpless person when it comes to food. All I plan for when leaving office is Dinner!!!!!

Can some one take all my mone so that I cant buy crap while going back home ? poor me..

Somethings are done, somethings are in process and something needs a big tight slap to stop... but I am still making progress. Some one said you should never stop working on your self.

Plan for today- 16 days till 31st Dec

Here is my plan for today:

~ I already ate well for breakfast and lunch

~ Bought Boiled Fish soup for evening and kept on my desk(Its yummy... i already tasted ;))

~ Had my almonds in morning

~ 2 Cups of green tea already, planning for the 3rd one in evening.

~ ~~Too much on food, I should better concentrate on my workouts~~~

~200 jumping jacks
~10 min Cardio DVD
~ Getting my daily walk

I think this sounds good as Im walking a lot everyday!!!

    Thank you for you comment on my 164th day of 10 minutes of exercise. Chris Downie (the owner of Spark People) put out the challenge. I have been a couch potato for most of my adult life. When I was fit, exercise made the difference. I am one that binges and I self-sabotage my weight loss efforts.

I do feel better when I exercise. I have health problems due to my obesity. I am not always consistant, I only log the days I exercise. Even 10 minutes is better than zero minutes and it is easy to find 10 minutes during the day to do it.

Walked during lunch time and while getting back home. I brought tiffin to office today. ... so no processed food- Yayyyy.

Had apple and grapes and some orange juice.

Rice , veggie , chicken at lunch

Chicken noodles at dinner. Snacked on mixture- but didnt over eat.

2 cups of green tea.

Not a bad day..

Tomorrow will be even better :))

My friday was aweful. Couldnt control my appetite for Beer and thats seems to ruin everything. I had to work out like crazy for both saturday and sunday to undo what I did on friday evening alone.

So im back to where I was now. Already had my blasting morning cardio of 10 min. Phew... it was a killing one for sure. I seriously hope it doesnt rain in evening so that I can go for my weekly long jog.

Had a great great breakfast like after ages. My habit of a daily breakfast was going for a toss for last few days. SO now I promise to have it for 5 days straight in a row.

Hopefully the coming week will be rocking... as I dont have many before I go back to my DH.

Praying praying... You know what im praying? ~~ All I want for Christmas is YOU!! ~~

Today is Excellent!!

Even though I haven't got an excellent workout(I am actually just walking today) I am satisfied just because I ate very well today. This is my weekest point guys, and I just have no clue how to control that and eat less...

This is so sick, but one day of 'staying in calorie range' seems like a great job done for me. Can I do it again tomorrow????? Thats a Big question .. and I have no answer.

Here is what I did today-

3 jugs of water
3 cups of green tea
No puff/pie/chocolate/candy today
Home made veg noodles in lunch
Boiled noodles with minched chicken for dinner
2 applaes for snacks.

Good day indeed!!!
