I did 96 minutes of fitness today – using the New Year motivation for another good day!
Today's highlight was doing a good amount of weights and rowing machine. I also went outside for awhile with the boys.
For all of our new members out there (and current ones working on a goal), this could be you next year!

Title: Reached weight loss goal by my target date!
Message: When I set my weight loss goal, I set the target date as today: 1/1/12. Many times along the journey I have questioned the wisdom of that decision. It meant that I had to keep making good choices, or at least reasonable splurges throughout the holidays. To top it off, I knew that I would have to take the last 10 days of my journey either being a guest at someone else''s house, or having company in my home, with little or no access to the internet. I borrowed my neighbor''s scale last night, so I would have it to weigh in first thing this morning. Last night, it looked like it might be hopeful. This morning, I discovered that I not only reached my weight loss goal, but I left an extra 1.8 pounds behind. I''m very relieved and excited. I really was not at all convinced that I would make it through the last couple weeks without the accountability and support that I''m used to. Woohoo!! I did it!!!

Message: WOOHOO! Took 14 months, but I did it! Just 46 pounds to go! It''s all downhill from here! Slow and steady wins the race!

Message: Today I am celebrating one year on Spark People! I am 94 pounds lighter and training for my first half marathon at the end of the month. Thank you, SP for changing my life forever!
