Everyone is doing so well. I may be out of commission tomorrow because BOTH my hips and low back are out of alignment! Well I will go to the chiropractor and then try to do the second aerobics class which will give me 45 mins. HUGS all! Just as I was finishing this, Rascal, my cat, pulled his water dish off the elevated step he's got. SO how many fitness mins can I count bending at the waist (I'm in a chair) and scrubbing? Wow, 102 days of 10 Minutes of Exercise! I joined it when you did, and I have done the minimum and plenty more nearly every day since! Thanks for this, it reminded me, that even if I only walked thd dog a short way, I could always fit in 10m minutes. I wanted to post an update about Sunny, our injured member from Texas – received this SparkMail from her daughter a couple of days ago – great example of the amazing support in our community!

Message: First, let me start by saying Momma is doing well and making steady progress in her recovery. I will send along a few details in a minute, but first I have to say something to all of you from me and my family – and from EMMITT!
Wow! When I told Momma I would read her the emails people might send I had no idea the impact it would have on me and the rest of our family.
We are all really close and have great support not only from our extended family but from Momma and Daddy’s church family as well. But we have been absolutely OVERWHELMED by the outpouring of love and sincere compassion and concern by the people who use the Spark website. We are amazed so many of you have taken the time to write to her with well wishes and prayers. More than 400 Spark members and counting have sent notes to her private email address and I haven’t even begun to count those who have written notes on her Spark people page.
It is amazing and it has touched our hearts that so many of you want her to know how much you really care. What is so remarkable about this entire thing is that you are so sincerely concerned about someone you know only through this website.
We cannot begin to tell you how grateful we are to all of you and how humbling it is to have such tangible evidence of the amazing Power of God’s love for His people. We are really sad because there are so many of you who have sent such wonderful messages to her, it will be impossible for us to respond to each of you individually. That’s really awful because we all wish we could tell each of you individually how much your kind words, thoughts and prayers mean not only to her, but to all of us as well.
Thank you, so much.
Now, on to Momma. First of all, for those of you who were worried about her dog, you will be happy to know that Emmitt The Wonder Dog has fully recovered and spends most of his day keeping watch at the foot of her bed. He really likes that he has graduated to a part-time house dog and is loving the extra attention he is getting these days. We laughed when Momma said if everyone doesn’t stop giving him treats he is going to be so fat by the time she is better HE will need to get his own Spark page!!
A physical therapist comes to the house every day to help Momma and beginning next week will be here only three days a week. Her mobility is certainly improved and she is recovering some dexterity in her hands. There is still lots of bruising, but even the deep bruising is beginning to lighten a bit. She is working really hard and says she is less sore every day. In her usual upbeat, positive way, she also works on keeping all of us laughing and focused on trying to always see the humor in all that has happened. I can tell she is doing all she can to help Daddy think he shouldn’t be worried about her. Almost losing her rocked him to the core and it has been touching to see how despite how hurt she is, her focus, as usual, is on doing all she can for him. They have been an amazing example of love for my brother and me all our lives and we consider ourselves two of the luckiest people on the planet to have these two as our parents.
We will go in for a doctor’s visit later this week so they can check her breaks, do some tests and get an overall good look at her progress. Getting to the truck and getting in and out of it will be a real challenge but she says she is up to the task.
The days are very busy for all of us as you can expect, but I will try and send another update next week. I am going to post this in the few places I know of and ask that if you see it needs to be posted somewhere else I don’t know about that you pass it along. So many have asked for an update, I want to make sure no one is missed. For those who want her email address again, it is gradyssunshine@yahoo.com.

What an awesome support system we have here. And Emmett the Wonder dog isn't the only pet that needs Sparks! I wonder if you remember my Rascal!? lol Still I am glad Sunny is improving. As to fitness I think I overdid it yesterday. I was going to do something else in the afternoon and had to cancel. I need to balance out better. But the improvement is there so I WANT to do it! (sigh) HUGS!

Thank you again, for posting this incredible story and the update. People are fundamentally good and loving. This is a phenomenal demonstration of that love. Whew, it gives me chills. As to fitness minutes, my exercise (1/2 marathon training) has been temporarily stalled due to a severe UTI.
