I did 23 minutes of fitness today
Today's highlight was bouncing on the mini-trampoline and then playing soccer with my son when he came outside to "play" with me. I kicked a ball that got stuck in a tree – hopefully the wind will knock it down :).

I just wanted to say thanks for coming up with this fantastic site. I wanted to copy you in a post I did to a couple Spark Friends just now because it is so unreal to me that I did it.
Woo hoo!!!! I can't wait for the new runners class today! I just ran my first time outside (not on the treadmill) and did my virtual 5K in 33:05. You were right about it being a lot different! I am so excited! That is HUGE for me. My whole life I always joked that if you saw me running look a few yards behind me to see the bear that was chasing me. I am still way early on in my running life but I can at least now say I am a runner. It is all SparkPeople's fault. I would have never even considered it before I found SP a couple years ago. It just would not have occurred to me. I have never been an athletic person...until now I guess. How weird is that. Now I am going to train for the 10K distance. I found a 5 & 10K race the first Saturday of every month at Santa Monica beach. I love the beach and I think it would be really fun to run there. I am going to go first to check it out in person and then I can to the 5K until I am ready to do the 10K. How cool is that? Since we just moved to So Cal maybe I can meet some friends to run with. Plus it might be a good play to network and find a job. Sorry this is so long but I just had to tell someone.
