I'm heading back to Chicago! :) My vacation was so great for me, I was able to gain clarity and throw away my "should" list. You know...the list of things that are on that list because everyone else thinks you "should" do it. I'm just focusing on my Truth and what I want to accomplish. Right now, that's more reading, development, taking time out for me, and doing things like spending time on SparkPeople.
I am going to be working on 80% ME-goals and 20% work-related goals. It was the opposite before...I think at times it even got to like 95% work and 5% me. :/...I always felt like I SHOULD be farther along than I already was. But now I realize that was just my perfectionism talking.
So my ME goals include starting this ChaLEAN Extreme/TurboFire hybrid, planning my meals, meditating daily (for at least five minutes), reading ten books, de-clutter my room/donate my stuff from college (you should see it!), create a budget, and journal/blog daily. My two work related goals are to create and market the Vitality 4-Week Weight Loss Jump Start and to continue running the Vitality Challenge. Easy enough! :)
I get caught up in my "should" list based on what my perfectionist family thinks I should be doing (especially my dad). In reality, I'm exactly where I should be :)
