240lbs Day 2

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

I am 240lbs, I have no idea how I let this happen. I am so uncomfortable and miserable. Enough is enough I am taking control of my body back, NOW. The plan I've started (as of 2 days ago)

60-80 carbs a day
25-35 grams of fat a day

100 ounces of water a day

I will be doing fitness on a random schedule for the first week, but then will be moving on to a more strict fitness plan.

Things that need to be worked into my plan:

Apple cider vinegar 3 times a day

Brushing teeth when I put my son to bed

Going to bed by 930pm

Check in

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

Im on track, eating and exercising. Not really losing any weight. My inches are fluctuating like crazy though. My energy is really low, I feel like theres something wrong with my metabolism.

I'll keep going though, cause if I stop I will gain insane amounts of weight...

Is gaining 35lbs in like 6 months normal? That was me eating right too. I cant even imagine how much I would have gained if I was eating whatever I wanted! Pretty good motivation though I guess haha.

No, gaining 35 pounds is not normal. Please go see a doctor.

Go to a doctor and don't guess about your health. Hang in there, Pat

The gain is not "normal" but it is common. Please check in with your doctor to make sure you don't have an endocrine problem like thyroid or diabetes. Nerves can lead to gain as well...I call it my mindless munching states...but it will be okay if you keep Sparkin'!!

Maybe you should see a doctor. Not sure that sounds normal.

April renewal

Sunday, March 31, 2013

So last year I looked really good. No tummy bloating, clear skin. And I felt really thin. I was 30lbs less than I am today. I was 200lbs. Today I am 230lbs. This needs to change. Like...yesterday.
So Im starting out april right and Im going to exercise every single day for atleast 20 minutes a day. No matter what. No excuses.
My biggest pet peeve about my current weight is that my stomach is hugely bloated, I dont even want to leave my house I feel so gross and bloated.
Im posting some pictures of me from last year for motivation for me...I looked so good.

that sounds like a good idea what i need to do is wake up with my husband in the morning and get a quick yoga tape or something done before the baby wakes up.

You can reach your goals if you just keep pushing.. emoticon emoticon

Impatiently baby craycray

Thursday, January 31, 2013

Im having some issues with patience...

I really want a baby, like right now. And all we are waiting for is for me to lose weight.
Weight loss is already such a slow process, ugh..

Im exercising 5 days a week, eating really well, staying focused and motivated, I just wish there was some sustainable way I could speed this up.

The original weight I wanted to get down to was 150lbs, Im 227lbs and 150lbs seems sooo far away :/
I think I would be happy getting back to 190 and trying.

I would suggest maybe (as you are able) to use the time you are losing weight to also get other things in order - the things you want done before baby comes. Like, finances and decluttering a room and establishing a project that you won't have time for after baby comes. Y'know, get all the other ducks in order, things that are shorter-term goals alongside the weight coming off. Things that will make it SO much easier on you for having done them BEFORE baby comes! This will give you some other things to be excited about, a feeling of satisfaction, and take up some of that impatient mental energy. Think of it as practice for pregnancy - a baby takes 9 months to develop. Practice that! Practice 9 months of weight loss - working toward a goal. Believe me, expectant mothers get quite impatient after about 7 months. You can have a head-start on knowing you can go the distance without being cranky that it's taking "too long!"

All my best wishes to you!

You can do this. The weight didn't come on overnight and it can't just magically come off overnight. One day at a time...

You can do this. It will be worth the wait.

Well, 188 would be halfway so I'd say 190 isn't a bad goal. Once you get there you can continue to eat right & exercise while trying. Then once you find out you are, just follow what your doctor would recommend for exercise. For pregnancy you only add 300 cals to the cals you normally eat. It may be a slow process, but being healthy for your baby(even before) is a good thing. Good luck!

Updates

Monday, January 28, 2013

Im feeling pretty good right now.

Im back on track and I've eliminated a few foods that I thought were okay but turned out to be not so good, such as the hummus I was eating turned out to have 11 grams of fat per 2 tablespoons!
I dont know how or why I thought this (maybe I was thinking of a different brand?) but I thought it was 3 grams of fat per 2 tablespoons lol So thats gone and so are a few other things like that.

Im trying to remember to think as food as fuel. And if itdoesnt help (fuel) me its hurting my progress.

Ive found a nice schedule,

monday, tuesday, thursday, friday, saturday are exercise days. Sunday and wednesday rest days.

Sundays are going to be my weigh ins.

After TOM I was 231lbs :/ Yesterday I weighed in at 227.4 so thats nice, Im feeling less bloated. I just can not wait to get back down to under 200. ugh.

But Im working hard, and the harder I work the more energy I have and the easier it becomes.

Thanks for the Hummas tip. The serving size of 2tbs should have been a clue to me but I have over indulged on that "protein" that is mostly fat. Great that you are doing so well.
