This is amazing!!!!!!!

Been on here since Wednesday, and I know you aren't supposed to weigh yourself but once a week, but I got a little excited, and I already lost two pounds!! I know that treating this as a sprint won't work, but I am really motivated now. Plus I spun 500 goodie points on the bonus wheel today! What a good day. My next goal, besides making sure I do my fast breaks everday, is to be able to plan my weeks meals. That seems like a daunting task right now, but I know anything is possible!!! Green Smoothie!

I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but I had the BEST green smoothie this morning and it was relatively low cal and very delicious AND nutritious. Just 4 cups of spinach, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 cup lowfat greek yogurt, 8 oz kombucha and blend!!! New breakfast fave I think! I think 230 total on calories. Pretty awesome!

    Kombucha is a cultured/fermented tea, originating in China. The culture starts from the kombucha mushroom and then through fermentation it devolops a culture. I buy the Synergy brand and LOVE it, Trilogy is my favorite flavor. But yesterday my brother gave me a kobucha cutlture starter, so I am on the quest to make my own kombucha now. You can google where to get the original mushroom to start your culture and then find out the different ways of making the tea. I am going to probably start mine today. If you are interested I'll let you know how it goes. I'll give you a quick rundown of the nutritional benefits:
1 bottle/16 oz= 60 calories, 7 carbs,folic acid 25%,vitamin B2 20%, Vitamin B6 20%, Vitamin B1 20%, Vitamin B3 20%, Vitamin B12 20%
Probiotics= Lactobacillus Bacterium: 1 billion organisms
S. Boulardii:1 billion organisms

Wow! Excited? Yes! Overwhelmed? Yes!!!!

Today is my third day on here and I am excited to have found this amazing opportunity to reap benefits from a healthier life, but I am a bit overwhelmed right now! And I can't find where I would be tracking my weight? Not that I have lost anything yet, but there is just so much info on here! I am really intrigued by all the info, recipes, blogs, I have been on here for a few hours these last few days and feel like I haven't seen the tip of the iceburg yet. I have tried so many diets in my life, I am getting a real big feeling that this isn't your average weight loss/diet plan. So, hurray for me for finding this site, I guess someone up there loves me emoticon!

    To track your weight, go to My Trackers, then start. On the left side, towards the top it will list your trackers: Nutrition, fitness, weight. Click weight and you can enter your weight there. If you scroll down a little it will have My Goals and Progress. Beneath "weight progress" you can choose to change your goals so that it adjusts the number of calories you need to be eating to meet your goal.

This is my second time around and I am still learning new things. When I first started on this site, I spent hours every day on here. It helped me stay on track. Read the articles, meet new people, join teams, read the message boards, learn learn learn. Good luck!
