Hello! It's been a while... but it's because I got a job! I'm back in my happy place, teaching preschoolers at a great program. I'm really enjoying our current unit, All About Me! It gives me an excuse to teach them all about how to take care of their bodies by eating healthy foods and exercising. We are having such great fun, and I'm getting exercise during the day as well.
My food entry hasn't been all that great, but I have been trying to stay aware of my body and stopping when I'm full. I'll admit, a couple times since I've been back, the Panera and Penn Station sandwiches wouldn't let me cease at the right moment :) However, for the most part I'm staying pretty consistent on not eating when I'm not hungry.
As far as exercise goes, I found out that I am able to do a standard pushup! I'm very excited about that :) I've been sticking with Zumba and the Spartacus (all 3 rounds now!) workout for the last few weeks, but I just moved into my new apartment and am looking forward to purchasing some running shoes to use on the treadmill downstairs.
I'm down 3 pounds, which isn't amazing, but I feel much stronger and am happy that my weight isn't going up.
