so today might not be my best diet day, but we shall see.. (my grandmother made ribs.. couldn't help myself haha.. but i've had a little over 500 calories so far so we shall see..)

in other news i have updated my Twilight Fan-Fiction today!! ch 2 "Shock Treatment" is up! so if you havent read the first 2 "chapters" the "Prologue" and "As If He Never Existed" please go do so!!!

this story is helping me stay focused!! so the more reviews, the more it keeps me writing = the more concentration i put into it!!! tra la la!!!

alright.. this calls for more tea and then i'll traipse off to my dance class. love you all!

    Ribs is long as you're not eating a whole animal's worth ribs are just one more thing to enjoy eating!

Now, about that fanfic--I've been an adult fanfic fan for years, so I feel pretty sure of myself saying that by posting that new chapter you've made somebody's day! Just think, there's someone out there who's going to be enjoying an alternate universe that you're building chapter by chapter. Thank you for increasing the general happiness of the universe!

Yesterday i did probably the worst thing to do. well not the worst.. i tried fasting. just for a day to make my number for today. yeah never deprive me of food, i go insane. but i tried my Yogi Healthy Fasting Tea and it helped.. but i ended up cracking to only have a dish of 170 calorie yogurt. needless to say i woke up today feeling like i lost weight but lethargic because i had nothing to work off of. but it worked! i lost a half pound more than i normally do in a week. so i felt good, but now i'm making up for the loss of protein. i'm not going hog wild, just getting good nutrients in me. i dont think i'll do that again. i'll maybe eat at least one full meal and then fast or vice-versa and drink my tea.. but never a whole day.. live and learn.

    Dude. Fasting isn't good for you. And besides, it will set you back as far as weight loss goes. Without food you body thinks it's starving and will hold onto everything you do eat. That's how I gained all this weight in the first place; I couldn't eat due to anxiety, but once I started to again, my body basically stored all of it.. And as for "making your number" for that day, you're only trying to trick yourself.

In fact, if you've just started doing a lot more exercise than you used to, you simply might need to eat more in order to get past whatever plateau you've been at.

Don't fast if you can help it. That way lies anorexia, which is stupidity.

    I also learned the hard way and don't do that anymore unless I'm not going to work out the next day.

so i'm trying to fast today.. it's hard cause i'm feeling weak and lightheaded.. but i'm drinking my fasting tea.. we'll see what happens over the course of the day..

ok this is my first blog here after like 2 years of being a member.. sad, no?

but this time i'm really meaning this diet.. i've been at it for about a month, i've lost around 10lbs and i'm feeling good. it's slower than a snail in molasses but it's gettin there.

to keep my mind occupied from food and hunger i drink tea, dance, read and write. it's worked well so far. let's just hope the story i'm writing has enough chapters to get me through the end!! :D

    Congrats on the weight loss! I have the same issue issues with needing to keep busy to not eat... good luck! What kinda bood r u writing?
