Did I see the scale go farther right? Naw that can't be right. Hmmm... Let's see if I adjust it this way and that; I'm sure it will read 140 or 139.
How did I miss 1 week of fitness and go backwards so fast.
Okay. That's it. I WILL NOT GAIN again. I like my smaller size. Now I have a plan.
Water...water...water...8+ glasses /day
strength training- 20 minutes/4 days a week
cardio - 30 minutes/4 days a week.
I want to get in a slender party gown for New Year's.
A girl's gotta step out in style...ya know what I mean?

Last week was a stressful mess. I accomplished 0, yes...0 fitness minutes. Although I was not stationary, I worked myself into a heap of "stress mess".
To sum things up, just about anything that could go wrong DID!
It's Sunday, a new week, and I'm about to get in those last few grades of my students, clean this room, wrap some gifts, and GET SPARKED up again-30 min workout!

Dang. I am the bomb cook!
Wha..What.. was that?
Did I put all of that on my plate?
2 slices of tukey, 1/2 cut dressing, topped with giblet gravy, mac and cheese, greens, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, 2 deviled eggs, cranberry, and a dinner roll. Whew!
I can't believe I ate the whole thing!
Oh. It doesn't end there. Dessert/Snacks: 1 slice of lemon meringue pie and 1 slice of sweet potato pie..."Sonya, you sure can cook!"- quote to self
My husband cooked the turkeys, dressing, gravy, and greens. Thanks, honey!
What was that noise? OMG! Anal conversations at 12am and beyond! This sh ain't cool.
Any Maalox out there in the Sparkworld?
Ok. That's what I get for overindulging. Now my ass is paying for it- literally!

Yesterday: bright, beautiful, sunny day at the beach...
The family: husband, 2 youngest kids, and I decided to go for a family stroll (aka Family Fitness). My seven year old son loved the idea and embraced it with enthusiasm and anticipation. My thirteen year old...not so much. Okay, she loathed the idea of hanging out wih us...Shall I say MOODY! As my son says, "She was acting stinky!"
Nevertheless, my husband and I love the refreshing breezes and sunshine. We noticed that there must have been a walk-a-thon along the sidewalk adjacent to the seashore. I spotted large, small, and every size in between walking and and jogging.
I thought, "What a way to Spark up a day!" I certainly hope they all keep it up. Although some of them looked as if they couldn't wait to give up. Of course working out is hard work, but the end results are SMOOOOOTH sailing!

Been Sparking since January 11, 2010 and now it's November 16th...Wow! I reached my goal weight and now am striving for 5 additional to give myself "room to grow" - pun intended...Just in case.
My BMI is now at the normal range. God is good!
I feel and look great. Since "Spark" has been in my life, I really am a new person.
Thanks Chris Downie! You have truly saved my life, more mentally then physically.
I know I wasn't obese or "fat"- I hate that word, but my confidence and cholesterol were suffering which is more important than appearances.
