This holiday is one of my favorites.
Any holiday which recognizes my redeemed saviour is definitely a favorite...Christmas, Easter, Passover, Good Friday, and All Saints Day.
On this day and the other 364 days, I pray the Lord will abundantly bless all of my sparkfriends with each one's needs met. I pray that the efforts each one puts in will yield a positive return with health benefits abound. I pray no illness will become an obstacle deterring my friends from reaching goals toward guarding their temple. We are all created in God's image which devinely shows how God created many masterpieces.
Sacrificing His only begotten Son is the icing on my Maker's cake. Forgiveness...Eternal life...need I say more?

He's truly an honest comedian who doesn't give a darn about being politically correct.
Just love this!
Funny! Funny! Funny!
(If wasn't using my iPad, I'd insert his photo, but I can't while "sparking")
Here's to humor and down-to-earth comedy on weeknights when I need a little boost!

Since my 5% Challenge Team is so darn I want to dedicate this blog to the leaders and members.
Ceriusly, KalisWalker, Minna72, KristinsGoals,MimawElizabeth, SandyMisa, & LiveRightNow all lead by example.
The challenges have helped me to build better habits and bring out the dogmatic, competitive spirit in me. This is truly a good thing!
I hope that I can not only learn to practice these habits for a lifetime, but be a better leader on the 2 teams I lead on this site.
Spinning my wheels,
Posting my results,
Putting my BEST foot forward,
& Eating healthy foods are my continuous plan on this team.
Success all the way!
I plan to be truly
2013 Awesome A Team Winter, baby!
How ya like us NOW?

Awakened by my 6am alarm to prepare for a Girls Day Out with my SIL.
We tried for at least 2 years to get this going.
So I felt the tingles of excitement as the big day drew near.
Ate a blueberry bran muffin and some hot green tea to get going.
Kissed the sleepy husband goodbye and headed out the door...
Drove to Houston which took about an hour due to traffic.
Arrived at SIL's house to find my BIL feeding the dog prior to him leaving for work.
Once my SIL and I were geared for our Day of Relaxation & Pampering, we chatted about our feelings of having our first REAL spa day.
Of course, many people lavish in the ritual of pampering themselves. We have not indulged in this luxury until today.
Some of our fears included:
Where do we put our clothes?
Will our money be protected?
What if we have to pass gas?
Will we be comfortable "naked"?
I may fall asleep...
Will there be a huge, stoutly-built Hulk-like dude pouncing on my back? (my thought actually)
Because I am so honest and open, I must say...I mentioned the gas. She agreed though...LOL!
After visiting the Studio & Japanese Day Spa near the Galleria, I never felt better!
None of those fears came into fruition.
No. Not even the gas....
The young gentleman was slim, handsome, professional, and very polite.
I had the foot reflexology and hot stone massage.
Can you say, "Heaven!" ???
The sounds of flowing waters, relaxing cinnamon and eucalyptus aroma filled the air as whispers of soft, subtle sounds of the ancient orient calmed the soul fulfilling the heart.
I sipped hot green tea and hydrated with cucumber-flavored water in this euphoric calm.
Yes. I shall return and receive the seaweed body wrap and the salt scrub another day.
Let's just say as soon as my SIL is done, we have lunch and then I get my hair done, I plan to schedule my next visit right before summer vacation.
Should I invite the hubby?
