So Excited!!

Yesterdays workout was a bear to get through. It's the same workout I've been doing and yet it was something I had to force myself to finish. Ouch. But I did and I feel vindicated today. lol
I weighed in and have lost 1.4 lbs since last week.
I am still in shock about my inches lost between this week and last.
.75 lost in my hips and 2.25 inches lost in my waist.
WOOT! Just in a week.
I guess the workout is working!
I still have lots of inches to go but I am so excited!

Not bad. Not bad at all.
While I have had my eating "fail" moments in the last week...I have stuck to it and kept working out. There was one day I did not because my daughter has been so sick and I was holding her almost all day. :(
But, this morning I weighed myself and did my weekly measurements.
I was so excited and it put a new spring in my step!
Ready for it?
In one week I have lost 1.8 lbs, 1/2 inch off my hips, and one whole inch off my waist!
Woot! It was nice to see the fruits of my effort. :)

Eating Fail

I failed tonight.
Hubby got Applebee's and I went about 300 calories over goal and 20 grams of fat over yet I was under on my Carb intake. Boo.
Tomorrow IS a new day.

Day 3 Biggest Loser DVD

Well, as it states above, today is Day 3 of doing the Biggest Loser DVD.
Yesterday, my quads and upper sides/ribs were hurting when I woke up but I still did the Strength Training portion as scheduled.
Today, I wasn't hurting as much but it was harder to complete the exercises. My body and mind wanted to rebel. BUT then I reminded myself that it would end soon and WHY I was doing it in the first place.

It's amazing to me how easily we, as humans, forget things.
While going through the workouts am I thinking about how good I will feel?
Very little.
And yet, afterward I feel excellent. I have more energy and just feel peaceful.
I NEED to think on these things more often.
Instead of letting my past failures come back to haunt me.
That was then. This is now.
I am different.

It really is all about my thought process.

    I think we get caught up in stupid things and we focus on artificial goals so when we are doing something that is genuanly good for you in the long run, our bodies fight us over it. Focus on the prize and the accomplishment of sticking with it.

My library has a couple Bigget loser workouts. i enjoyed trhem because they have things for all fitness levels so i can progress.The yoga one had me sweating!
