I pulled a muscle in my leg at the gym and haven't been back since... I also haven't been watching what I am eating!! Definitely not a good start.

    sorry to hear about the pulled muscle, don't give up on yourself start tracking it's key and be careful of what you put in your mouth! YOU CAN DO THIS, BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Starting...again.

So, today is the first official day that I am trying to do this diet/exercise thing. The diet didn't go so well- I went shopping and then to lunch with a friend. But tonight, I will go to the gym. I like to wait until it settles down, i hate when there are a lot of people around. I am dreading it already and trying to come up with any excuse not to go emoticon

    You went to the gym...good for you! And you are right; some is better than none. I have found that this experience is about making small changes by trying to choose the healthiest option. 10 minutes of fitness is better than 10 minutes on the couch, water with lunch is better than soda, a salad is a better side dish than fries. Stick with it!

    If you don't make it to the gym, then do FIVE MINUTES of exercise at home, since the hardest part about doing exercise is STARTING. You can find five minutes of it on YouTUbe with PRISCILLA PATRICK doing YOGA. She is 70 yrs old now and those clips of her on YouTube are from her PBS TV program she did 20 yrs ago. She is 5'6" and 110# and the mother of 3 grown children. Her web site is at www.yogaone.com
