Having already updated the calendar, I made appointments with myself to get moving all weekend. The biggest events on the agenda are heavy cleaning, yard work and go to the pool.
For some, the pool is a place to lounge around and catch up on your summer reading. For me, I keep moving! Just like the kids who can't get enough water, I'm there to beat my best activity level from the previous visit to the water: 15+ laps around the lazy river and 20+ min strength training, for a total of 50+ min of water exercise.
This weekend, I'm shooting for 60 min each time we go to the pool! So I'll lace up my water shoes and get moving!!
Oh, but there's still 60 min on the Wii Fit Plus for my challenge group. I do that first thing in the morning before the rest of the family is up and at 'em.
So, as you can see, I'll stay active this weekend. With being off from work all next week, I already have a plan to put in 90 min each day (except the 4th of July).
Making it public holds me accountable!
