We had very good intentions of getting in some strength training while on vacation for 4 nights and 5 days last week. All the necessary equipment (DVDs, Kettlebells, fitness attire, shoes, etc.) was packed and even taken into the room. However, we never did do even 10 minutes of strength exercises.
However, we did get in extra long walks. Both MDH and I averaged 11,000 to 12,000 steps per day walking the Silver Dollar City Amusement Park trails and the outlet malls of Branson, MO. We also spent time in the pool playing with our 7 y/o son.
So we did get in some fitness, just not exactly what we had planned. All is not lost!!
