One of the message boards posed the question "What differences did you first notice?" Like most of those who commented on this feed, I answered loose fitting clothing.
But today, I'm more thrilled that others are beginning to notice the difference in ME. Not that the scale has really cooperated, but my physique is different thanks to all the varieties of exercises I'm doing. Since March I've been doing lots of Kettlebell workouts, Wii Fit Plus Yoga and Strength activities, cardio, Balance Games, etc. on average 6 days a week. It's obviously making a difference.
One of the women at my weekly faith sharing group commented "You look like you are losing weight." And others agreed with her. Not that I'm doing this for anyone else. It just nice to hear that others are noticing.
Oh, what a feeling!

Each week I take my Wednesday lunch hour and walk around the grounds adjacent to my place of work: Basilica of Saint Louis, King of France (The Old Cathedral), a historical landmark in St. Louis, Missouri. It just so happens to be located on the Mississippi Riverfront in the south shadow of the Gateway Arch, a national park, with several tree-lined trails.
Thanks to the SparkPeople Map Route program, I have the trails calculated a couple different paths to log when I do my Wednesday Walk. Today I had time for the longer of the two routes and I completed 2.11 miles in 37:21.5 minutes.
This is HUGE progress for me! When I first started this weekly routine, I was lucky to get around in 45-48 minutes. Look how far I've come in just three months! I'm making progress and so proud of my accomplishments thus far!
