It's been hard this year, I've been so sick with a strange lung thing (which started in Nov 2011) diagnosed after an open lung biopsy (in March 2012) as Cryptogenic Organising Pneumonia, a rare lung disease that has scarred my lungs and left them with limited capacity. (Oh and I'm still on prednisone, but tapering down, thankfully. I've been on it since Dec 2011 high doses but I'm alive and 60 lbs heavier) So I'm trying to get healthy and keep my disease under control which is called remission, so my fingers are crossed and my leggs are walking, literally!
I have also had 3 vertabrae fused in my neck a little over 3 weeks ago, a surgery I have been putting off for several years, I wish I wouldnt have waited so long now... oh well. So I see my Dr. Next week and I'm hoping I can get the ok to start adding some exercising, resistance bands, zumba, gardening and riding my motorcycle... All I can do now is walk.
So, for now I am trying to walk my dogs, which makes them very happy and that makes me happy :) and I'm trying to take it easy... which isnt as hard as I would have thought since my lung capacity isnt what it used to be. But hopefully when I get the ok from the Dr. next week, I can start to do more and maybe, just maybe my lung capacity will improve slowly along with my neck and I will loose weight too!
