Stressed. My nephew is leaving for boot camp with the Navy next Wednesday. Tonight is his going away party. I am so sad that he will be leaving us. It's a 6 year program. I know it is probably best for him because he has quite a volatile situation in his family. So I want to eat a lot....bad....Tomorrow is Mother's Day and my mom pushed all my buttons today. All of them. So I am blogging. Just blogging. My stomach is a mess really. The party isn't for another two hours and I just ughhhhh....I'm drinking a cup of tea and watching one of my favorite movies.

Sorry about the mom situation. I totally get it! The stomach issues too.

As for your nephew, this could be the best life decision he will ever make. He'll come back to visit and will be a changed man.

Enjoy the tea and remind yourself "this to shall pass".
Have yourself a terrific Mothers Day! emoticon

Down another .8 pounds! Woo Hoo! Well in my goal range and feeling strong. I am getting over a stomach bug so resting on the couch now. I was asked today at my WW meeting if I would be interested in applying for a position with the company! Wow! Very excited! The timing is perfect! I need something new. I"m thrilled. I will apply tomorrow when I'm feeling better. Tough weekend but I got through it. Hope my Sparkies are feeling well.

Success...

Thursday, May 01, 2014

I got so much done on my list since Monday! Score! I'm still working on whittling the list down but I'm happy with what I've done and not binging. I could have ate it out so many times this week. Thank God for my Sparkies and blogging. It really is making such a difference right now. Having the right foods in the house has made a huge difference. I am living on the fruit when I am having a moment...or two. I got to the dentist, emailed the photographer. I made some decisions with my friend the quilter about the famous quilt. I did my chores. I'm going shopping with mom today and picking out something for her for Mother's Day. I made the reservations for brunch. We got Adam fitted for his tuxedo...white tux...so fun ;-). Feeling good!

    Congrats.

Looks like you're doing way more for you son than I am for mine. He doesn't even want to go to his Grad. Apparently there's lots of Grads that don't go to the supper and dance because of the price of the tickets and other expenses.

Hope you get everything done that you need to.

Blogging it out...

Monday, April 28, 2014

Feeling overwhelmed here today. Adam is graduating in June and there are many things between now and then. We have to hit the tuxedo rental place today to get him fitted for senior prom! Go to the florist to get flowers ordered for his date. We are making a quilt for him with pieces and pictures from all of the musicals he has been in. I have to book the photographer for family photos. Make reservations for Mother's Day brunch. Get to the dentist. Get Josh set up for physical therapy because of an old wrestling arm injury. Ugh......So I would love to eat it out. Love to make it all better and numb. But I won't I will sit in this and wait it out. I have my WW meeting this morning. I have 40 minutes until I leave for it. That will give me a kick start. There were so many things I should have gotten done on Saturday. I was so lazy. So now I have to get stuff done. I will.

I feel your pain, hang in there--break it all down and just do one thing at a time, don't worry about the whole thing at once!

Yes, you sure do have a full plate but one thing at a time and you'll get there. I hope you share some pictures of your sons musical quilt. That is a fantastic idea! I bet it will turn out to be a masterpiece.
