Week 8

.2 loss....Oh well. Not a gain I guess. This was a tough week. Out to dinner Friday night, Saturday night and brunch Sunday...ugh. Oh yes, lunch out on Saturday too. So a loss of any kind is good. I did Zumba 3 times last week. Add in New Year's Eve of pizza and boneless wings and New Years day of pizza at my parents. Wow I guess it was a tough week. So this week is officially the new year of eating. I'm working on organization for my resolution. That will be good. Hope my Sparkies are all well.

Week 7

One pound loss!!!! What a week for it too! Christmas Eve, Christmas and a whole weekend at a wrestling tournament 2 hours away!!! So that is a score!!! I prepared for the trip with fresh fruit like clementines, grapes, bananas and apples. Baby carrots with hummus. Lowfat cheese sticks and turkey jerky for protein. I also brought prepackaged saltines from Wendy's so I had two at a time and done. Lots of water and coffee. Score! So this week I will work on getting my Zumba back in the mix. It was tough last week with all the events going on. So I'm down 14 pounds since November 18th. Nice way to start the new year! Hope my Sparkies are well!

A mid week blog

Today is trying....I have been very good with my food choices but I have another hour before dinner....ugh....Yesterday I had what I wanted and it was yummy my body is looking for more of all that. I won't give in but...ugh. I've lost so well that I will not lose my momentum for Monday's meeting. We are going to be out of town tomorrow and Saturday because of a wrestling tournament so that will be a challenge. I will stay focused. I can do this!

    You can do it. Just don't be so hard on yourself.

When temptation is there, walk away, say no, find another option as to what to eat. Don't cave to peer pressure.

Week 6

Another 3.4 pounds lost last week!!! Yay! A 13.6 total since November 18th. Feeling good! Feeling positive! I'm getting things done around here. That's good. Christmas preparations are winding down. Thank God! Today is cleaning and a little bit of shopping. I'm going to get a Zumba class in tonight! Hopefully I'll get one in tomorrow morning as well. I feel the meetings are a huge help. I also found out that once I get to my maintenance weight it is free to be a weight watchers member!!! Score! Maintenance is where I will need the most help actually. I think going to meeting even at my goal weight will be good for me. Of course checking in with my Sparkies is very important as well!!!! Hope you are having a productive day my friends!

    Having people around and keeping up with the accountability is great. I find that I miss going to WW just because of the other people there doing the same thing. We supported each other and such. I am seriously considering rejoining, just for the support.

I'm so glad you're doing great with WW and the Christmas preps are winding down.

    Maintenance is hard for alot from what i read. aalot of people gain the weight back. Congrats on the loss

Week 5

Monday, December 16, 2013

I lost another 1.2 pounds! Yay! A total of 9.6 pounds for a full month! I'm very happy with it! I'm feeling good while losing too! So I will keep going and living healthy. One day at a time. I'm under the weather over here. Tummy is not great. I'm resting and made some homemade chicken noodle soup. Lying on the couch watching the twinkling lights from the Christmas tree. If one is under the weather this is a nice view for it.
