So I was thinking that taking Wednesday off from the gym was a bad idea, but something told me an ounce of prevention was worth a pound of cure ... so I figured, take a break before I get burned out.
Anyway it was a very good week last week ... and an even BETTER 40 days.
Total calories burned for the week were 10,950 ... seems nuts looking at it now, especially when the goal was *only* 9,000 ?!?!
Weight when I started this insane activity on May 1st ... 215 lbs. Saturday June 9th, weighed in at 192 lbs ... 23 lbs lost in 40 days, in a word 'WOW' !
So, today I enjoyed yet ANOTHER day off from the gym ... and also resisted the urge 3 times to reward all my hard with with a triple scoop of frozen custard. Choosing instead to take an extra long nap today ... oh, much needed rest.
I'm so looking forward to getting back to a NORMAL workout schedule this week ...
