Last week I took vacation from work, housekeeping, diet and scheduled exercising. What I learn from my time off was balance. I was more open to the possibility's that came my way. Like sitting down with someone and listening, knitting a prayer shawl for Hospice patients, helping three stranded kids find their parents, witness twin fawns with mother, hearing the rain beating on the cabin roof, snorkling in fresh water, and watching Grandson experiencing his first duck ride. It is the time offs that help me become mentally, physically, and spiritual stronger and helps me balance my life.
