Another ordinary day Saturday heading to work, get on the highway and something just doesn't feel right, I pull over to the side out of the way put on the hazards, check things out, call my boss and let him know (today's his birthday....ooops) and call AAA (I've never changed a tire on my own and the temp was chilly 4 degrees) They put me as a priority since I was on the highway. Traffic was heavy with all the skiers heading to Loon, nobody stopped to help, and some of them obviously were not watching the road and went zooming pass me very very close to the line not giving me any room. I don't want to make anyone upset since this is a national site, but I'm just going to say it as the main message is important. 90% of those were red plates located in New England. So a friendly reminder if you're from that state , drive with courtesy and obey the speed limit!!
From this experience: I'm still a stress eater, I grabbed from the candy jar at 10:00 am b/c I was so wound up from this and I need to work on this stress eating. I am grateful for a fully charged cell phone, heat in the car, an AAA membership, and understanding co-workers. I need to become skilled at emergency car care. I had no clue how to change that thing.
Blessed I made it home safe, it could have been much worse. I could have swerved out of control causing an accident. But that didn't happen. Thank you Lord for keeping me safe.
