Good to Great in 2008!

So, I'm back to my healthy habits and feeling much better. Man, the American culture of fudge, cookies, and so much food at the holidays is tough to get away from.

Last year I was able to stay in pretty good shape. This year I'd like to get back into great shape again. I'm not in any hurry though. I think the only way I'll stick with it is if I take it slow and steady.

  I love your slogan-"Good to Great in 2008" . that alone gives me incentive. I have a goal of 30 lbs lost by May 2008. It sounds a bit unrealistic tho but would like to stick with it.Maybe I should change it to 20lbs and be happy. LOL. I have lost 56 lbs to date but it has taken me 1 year. I haven't always stuck to my plan 100% in the past and accomplished that much. If I followed the plan 100% 24 -7, I know I could do it. Deanna

Just had a great few days of skiing!

I burned a lot of calories this week! I just got back from a few days of skiing with friends in Colorado. We hit Arapaho Basin on Friday and Breckenridge on Saturday and Sunday! It was awesome. Breckenridge has a new lift to the top of the mountain, way above treeline that we hit a few times. It was a Double Black Diamond and really steep. We had to jump off a small cornice to get onto the actual run. Great stuff and a great workout!
