I try to do yoga 3 times a week. I'm fortunate, very fortunate. The company i work for hired a yoga instructor to come in 3 times a week, 2 classes on mon and wed, one on friday. I've been doing it on and off now for about 2 years. Starting in January, our yoga instructor, we'll call her M, has decided to torture us. It's pretty wonderful though, at the end of our 40 minutes we go into corpse pose and i'm so worn out i probably feel and look very much like dead weight. Today wasn't bad though, since Jan 5th, she taken it up a notch and today was relatively easy. The best part was, when i reflected on what we actually did it would have been a tough day, but after just two and half weeks, i'm adjusting. It's pretty great.
I need to add in more active cardio, and i'm thinking it'll be a little easier this time around.
anyway, nothing funny no real news. the scale still hates me. just thought i needed to post something

Exercise can be fun! Went dancing last night with friends, and sure we had a couple beers (2 to be exact) but the bouncing around and two-stepping more than covered it i'm sure. So much fun! I love dancing... need to get more of that in.
Not a bad week actually, 40 minutes of yoga on wed, 30 minutes worth of dancing last night, and i'll do another 40 minute yoga class today. 110minutes! I can definitely make my goal of 500
Oooh! i forgot we played volleyball on sunday... i'll call that another 30 minutes. It was actually way more than that, we were out there for a couple hours, but a lot of it was passive.
Week 1: drum roll please.... 140 minutes!

I conquered the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit! Every wednesday one of the guys brings in a bag from McDonalds, yes I know I've blogged about it before, but lets say I fell off the wagon. This morning though, I had frosted shredded wheat on my way to work and when that bag came in I wanted nothing to do with it. Woohoo! In fact, I went by Melody's desk and grabbed a banana cause I just knew I'd be hungry again, but haven't wanted it yet. Shredded wheat is the key! yeah yeah, I know it would be better if they weren't frosted, but it's better than the biscuit. oh yeah, the regular stuff is like cardboard. ick!
Got some new cookware for Christmas, Paula Deen :D and it's awesome. cooked a chicken breast with lemon, no butter no oil, and no stick! I love it

That's how i'm feeling. I'm under the weather, and not happy about it. Instead of going to yoga yesterday I went home early. and i really don't have the energy for physical activity. it sucks, i get all riled up and ready to drop the weight and BOOM. all i want to do is sleep 20 hours a day. On the flip side i'm eating less... so, not a total loss i guess.
anyway, hoping i'll be better by the weeks end and i can combat the Christmas day feast
