That's the amount of steps I've taken for the day so far. Actually I'm over 18,000 but I don't think I'll count anymore for the rest of the day I usually take my pedometer off at a reasonable time so that I will make up for any miss-steps that it may have recorded during the day, that just something I've decided on my own to be fair to myself and others.
Anyone wanting to join a terrific team and get encouragement to count your steps using a pedometer join the '10k Steps a Day Team', beautiful people who will encourage you every step of the way. 'Journey to a New You' team also have a step challenge on going and the folks here are also great company we are having a wonderful time so come on, join the fun and get healthy all at the same time.

Today my best friend at work got all dressed up and went for a walk with the rest of the team during our lunch break. After one year she has now decided to join us even though I didn't walk today she followed and completed the course which made me quite happy indeed.
I have pics of my team which I will be posting as soon as my daughter finds the time to help me.
How is life treating you guys?
This has been a good year for me. I'm feeling much better than I was a year ago. I'm more energized, I no longer suffer from Sleep Apnea, I don't have any pains in my feet, I'm 38lbs lighter and even though I didn't reach my goal weight I'm so very motivated to continue on my journey.
This site is marvelous and you my friends and my co-sparkers have been great to me. I love you all and I do wish everyone the best of results as we continue to spark.

This blog is one that is suppose to reflect the reality of my journey and a reminder that I'm human and to show that there will be times when all just don't go as planned.
I have been so off track with my food choices today I fell like crap and to top it off I'm was unable to get in some much needed exercise.
It has been one of those days that I think needs to be recorded . Tomorow is another day and one that I will have to be very mindful of.

My scale read 189.4 this morning. I know what some of you guys are probably thinking, you know she's barely there............ and so on but I'm proud to announce that I'm as happy as a lark the scale is eventually moving and I'm planning more ways to stay away from grazing especially at night time so that I can reach my goal .
While I'm on the topic of goal, next Friday or there about I will be celebrating my first year with Spark People but I'm a bit disappointed that I wont be at my goal weight . However I'm setting a new time line for me to reach my goal and that will be my birthday come September 11. I think that should give me enough time to get there without much hassle.
