It was just too much

Tuesday, December 28, 2010

baking for me this year, right now I'm feeling the effects of the constant heat. Runny nose, sneezing and way too much coughing especially at nights and a bit of a headache. Thank God that I'm on vacation.
Started putting some addition to my work suits yesterday and I dare say I'm looking good. My children were admiring the new size of my skirt waist. They are proud of me and I'm proud of myself.
In the midst of all that encouragement, believe it or not I'm a bit scared that I'll regain the weight I think of it and cringe. I know this is part of the process and I'm trying to keep myself all together.
I haven't exercised for a few days neither have I tracked my food, things are a little haywire these days, have other things on my plate.
I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow and I pray things have not gotten too bad, so guys all the best as New Year approaches and let me know how things are going for you.

    Hey Skinny Minny!

I just went through the same thing this past weekend with the Holiday. The not tracking, not working out, the fear. The EATING!!!!

For me I just realized, it is the past and I can't change it. I took the present by the rains and am back on track. I derailed a couple of pounds at weigh in. They will come off after the first of the year.

We have been doing this for almost 7 months. I think you got it emoticon

Hi Slim, yes it's hard to stay on track during the holidays. But remember this is a life long healthy lifestyle change so even if we've had a few days off of it all we have to do is get right back on track. I'm looking forward to 2011 as it's the year I want to get healthy and make my goals real. God Bless you and your beautiful family. emoticon emoticon emoticon

The holidays do make it hard to keep all our plates spinning. We have so much going on. Don't fret too much. Best of luck with the scale. And just know that you can get right back to tracking and exercise at any given moment. You can do it! Spark on! emoticon emoticon

I understand the fear all too well. Every time I do something I'm proud of I become afraid that I'll fall back into old habits. Just try not to let it get to you too much. I hope you get to feeling better. I'm feeling kind of crummy myself right now.

I hope 2011 is all that you hope for! emoticon

Picture Perfect

Friday, December 24, 2010

That's what my day is like today. Sun, mild wind, butterflies, my neighbour's dog barking (all adds to the ambience) and to complete this beautiful Christmas Eve, I have bread in the oven and the aroma just fills the house.

Now you tell me can it get any better than this?

Have a great day folks.

Wait One Minute

Friday, December 17, 2010

That's the line my brother who is visiting from Barbados used to let me know that he couldn't believe the amount of weight I've lost since he last saw me at his home in September.
Poor guy got concerned and tried to caution me about those rapid weight loss programs, he wanted to know if what I'm doing was safe. I assured him that it was and I was having a time of my life staying away from eating everything in sight.
I had some success this week but I'll not change my ticker until months end. I'm really trying to get to my goal weight for the new year. In case you don't know I will like to enter the new year no more than 200 lbs. I think I can make it.
How are you guys doing with your goals, please drop me a line and share. All the best. emoticon
