I read an article about 50 ways to burn more calories each day. It said that slimmer people are usually tapping or otherwise fidgeting. It recommends that doing this can burn up to 350 calories daily. In fact, I'll cut and paste it below:
34. Tap your foot. Your skinnier friends are probably fidgeters, who burn up to 350 calories a day just by tapping their feet or being restless. Try it for a few days. Walk around while you’re on the phone, or tap out a tune with your hands or feet (in the privacy of your own office, of course).
Seems too easy to be true. However, where would I start doing this? In the course of a work day, I run the risk of looking like I have had too much coffee and being hyper-active. I can just see me adding this to my fitness tracker and counting it as 350 calories burned. (NOT!)
