Reverse Psychology for Wgt Loss

Thursday, August 16, 2012

Many of us have had the experience of buying something a size smaller to inspire us along our journey. But the other day, I had the opposite experience that has proved to be a good reminder.

On the store sale rack was a great pair of summer shorts for practically nothing pricewise. Well, the only problem is it's my old size - a size bigger than I wear now. I thought, no problem, I'll just wear it.

Am wearing the pants as I write this, and they are very loose. And a constant reminder that I used to be this size and am soooo thankful I no longer need to buy this size. It's a great reminder of where I've come from and where I'm still heading - down down down.

Wishing all a happy day.

I find that wearing clothes that are too big for me make me feel fat...just like wearing ones that are too small. Either way, I don't feel very good about myself. That's cool how those pants are reminding you of where you came from.

If it works...why not?! I kept a pair of my starting size pants in the closet while I was losing weight last year and would take them out periodically as a reminder and warning.

Let me know all about it. I juice ALL the time and have a Juiceman..but I oftentimes just use my blender because I like having the pulp for the extra fiber. What kind did you order and let me know how you like it.

Awwww there are many left handers in my family. Plus, my Granddaughter is ambidextrous!! It's amazing to watch, she will start writing with her left hand and then finish up with her right. as a child she would color with both hands at the same time. She is almost 19 now and is an amazing person and a really good artist!

Pulp Fiction (Juicing)

Sunday, August 12, 2012

My new juicer will arrive in a few days, and I've been researching ways to use the pulp. One that I thought interesting was to make veggie chips. Sounds easy and said to be delish. Has anyone tried this?

Wishing all a happy day.

Interesting with the chips idea! I froze the pulp and thought I might be able to use it in some type of baking but haven't tried it in anything yet. I loved to hear how it goes also...keep us posted. Thank you

We sometimes feed the pulp to our backyard chickens. but they don't like carrot. They love kale, though.
