Go by how your clothes feel too. You maybe gaining muscles and that weight more than fat. Your clothes will tell you too that you are losing weight.

Last week, I read a book called "Cut the Crap." Among some of his advice was something he states has been substantiated by studies.
If we sniff delicious food, it tricks our brain into thinking we've eaten it. Honestly, I doubt that would work for me as I have too much stimulus/response going on. That is, I smell something yummy, and I want to eat it.

The author of "Cut the Crap." should talk to supermarkets that place the bakery dept near the store entrance as a marketing strategy. Wonder how big the studies were and and if they used normal humans. :) Report Inappropriate Comment |
