Even though I don't drink a lot of coffee (a small mug a day and no other caffeinated beverages), I get flu-like symptoms (including awful headache) for a few weeks (yes, weeks!) when I detox from caffeine. I've tried different methods like weaning slowly, etc. Doesn't work.
And I figure while I'm going to feel awful, I might as well get rid of sugar. I don't know how to do "just a little" so I've gotta get rid of it. Yes, I've been through this before. Both sugar and caffeine affect me terribly, and I recently was off both for five months. Felt so much better.
Okay, here we go. This is day one and I feel like I should be on that Dr. Drew Rehab Show.
