2nd full day at work...OK

Al of us stayed home al day, except for my super break when I took a walk, I clocked it with car later and it was 2.3 km. I read a story in Good Housekeeping about Marissa Hargitay's new babies. Did some more crocheting and patiently helped one of the ladies try it, but she seems ok with single crochet, but going into a double and a granny square is proving too much.

Came home and talked with dd and Mya and now, I'm so tired. Fell right asleep last nite and didn't move till I heard the alarm go off, well actually, didn't hear that but heard dh say there's your alarm..

Well, let's get settled into a new routine. Dh waking me at 4:28 this a.m. with insults etc etc was not good. Finally, I out in my ear plugs and called the Crisis Line and passed him the phone. What is wrong with this man? I had a lousy sleep, or lack thereof the rest of the nite.

Luckily, work was easy today. One lady went out with her parents for most of the day. The other lady and i had a great day. Chatted and lunch and then I was showing her how to crochet. She hasn't quite got it, but she was so patient and persistent. Will be nice if she gets the hang of it tomorrow and can make herself a granny square. Took a nice long walk for my supper break.

Now, I'm going to see if I can find a carrot, pineapple and raisin muffin recipe... One lady really likes to bake and we talked about making this tomorrow..

Quick spark and it will be bed time already... worked till 9pm..

Thank you all my SP friends... yes, I did cook good meals yesterday, now I have to figure out how to eat well on weekends that I work. So, no takers on the man, Darn!

Well, I sat on the internet applying for jobs today. I then was going to go to the recyclers when dd came in and said they were looking for sorters again, so I printed off dh's resume and brought it over. It talked to the lady and told her about his visual deficits and she had her mother go for cataract surgery and come out with 1 eye blind, so she understand and said this might be a good fit... So, I came home and gave him a head's up so he's been in aMOOD every since.. What a crazy way to live....

I also got my police check done while I was out and went to the library. I came home and made chicken the Hungry Girl way, I put onion soup mix with some bread crumbs on the skinned chicken legs and baked them. I made a Greek pasta salad and asparagus to go with it. Then I had to go to the school to volunteer with g.d. who won a Friday nite at the Library because she read 18 hours last month... So, they made a craft and then had a special guest from FAmily THeatre in the gym and then we served them ice cream Sundaes, and I did eat my pay too.

I had asked dh to clean out the car,(while I made supper) vacuum etc. cuz I need to use the car for work, but he postponed and postponed till dd and g.s. finally went out and did a superb job of cleaning my car, you'd think it was new!!! Anyway, dh did nothing and still got to eat... What a horrible attitude and bad example he is setting for the kids too.

Well, spent this afternoon figuring out how and then sending out sil's resumes. At his work the other nite, he was in the sewer underground and the supervisor made a big mistake and had water flowing into the hole and sil almost got drowned. Anyway, he didn't bother to file an incident report, and then tonite he was called to come to the office and make a report. Instead of the truth being told, he got suspended and sounds like the super did a CYA, lots of stress in the house tonite..... Just seems so close to the situation I went through....

I went to grocery store and who did I walk into by the supervisor from my new boss who interviewed me. She recognized me and spoke first....good sign!

I've NEEDED LOTS of chocolate today!!!!!!!!!!

I had a lousy sleep, woke about 4 times... went to dr. this am and then shopped with dd and had lunch and went to my counselor appt.. She thinks I don't need to see her anymore. this is from the woman who told me when I arrived - right on time- that she needed to go make a call (on my appt time?) and then she watched the clock and flipped through stuff on her desk much of the appt(??) Anyway a closed file on my life.

Then shopped and went to the head office and talked with administrator a few minutes, then drove to work and had another 3 hr orientation. day is done..
