DAy 26 - a hungry day

Well, it really is interesting how much you can eat when you are careful... My sis told me about bodywise bagels, can't find the bread, but did have a 3 pt. bagel with cream cheese for breakfast, along with my poached eggs, and yogurt and raspberries.
Lunch - turkey neck, chicken wings, mixed veggies, potato and sour cream
Super - spaghetti, meat sauce with onions, pepper, mushrooms & salad

no cals. left for snacks tonite though

I made a big spaghetti supper for everyone, and made myself the whole wheat kind which are 0 pts. on WW.... Then I made a big salad and we all added our own dressings, so there is actually enough left over to have lunch tomorrow too.

I've been tired and lazy, even took a nap today.... just watching Corrie Street to catch up now.

    Yes, I do mean whole wheat spaghetti... on the old WW Core plan, it is a core food that I don't have to count the points for, right?

Annie, don't worry about a big shop, just go to the Bulk Barn and you can pick up 1/2 cup of lentils to give them a try to see if you like them.

Thanks to everyone for their support and comments as well. Here I am sparking and I really need to be exercising, so I'm going.

    By 0 point pasta, do you mean it is core - that is whole wheat? That is what I have been using too. Picked up 2 pkgs last week when it was on sale. I just have to make some sauce now. I usually add a lot of veggies to my sauce as well as the meat.

Good for you for keeping such good track of things. Thank you for sending the lentil recipes, I'll let you know how they turn out, probably won't be for a couple of weeks, I have no lentils on hand and I will get some on my next "big" shop.

    Good blog Lila, When you track the food , you can see quickly how much you can eat. I have my meals planned so I enter them in the morning, that lets me know if I can add a snack or if I change my mind I can readjust the track. You are doing much better. I am concerned with you being tired, especially since you seemed to have a long sleep.

DAy 25 - didn't mess up on anything

Well, except we had onion rings while we were out shopping tonite, but I am way under on my calories.... I'm so tired!!!!

DD bought those Body By Vi shakes, and I tried one for breakfast... anybody else try them or knw anything about them. Interesting I saw Oxygen magazine on the stands today and it said do this and lose 10 lbs. in a month... and I thought... well, that's ok, I lost 7 lbs. in 3 weeks anyway....

Day 24 - started with chocolate, but changed to walking with Leslie

I know I shouldn't have bought that chocolate bark with peppermint, but I did..... so last nite and today already I am binging on it. STOP IT right now!!! I mean it!!!! So I tried out my new Walk Away Your Waist workout with Leslie.... It is 3 miles with the waist belt... wore me out, gotta go have some healthy after workout food, I even just read that SP article to the side about what to eat Just being accountable... now off to healthy snacking...

    Good for your for stopping your chocolate binge. I did a 3 mile WATP for abs wit the belt this evening also. It felt good.

    Learning to have a little chocolate (as opposed to three bars) is a *good* thing. Sometimes we need a bite of whatever it is we're craving to make the craving go away. Then you got back on track and exercised. Perfect! emoticon

Day 23 - good news at dr. appt. too

Well, after yesterday's surprising weight change - could it get any better? Yes, it did. I went ot my nutritionist appt. today and she was able to tell me my result's s for my AIC I had done last week.... it went down to 6.9!!!!!!! YEA!!!! It was at 7.7 in Oct., so big change with exercise.... cuz this WW dieting isn't even really reflected in it yet... So, I am going to make a spinach salad for lunch and make another pot of good homemade soup this time, yesterday's was not great, way too much rice, and no one put it in the fridge, so it's probably quite toxic by now....

Temps are going up.... only -23 today!!!
And today I want to do the new WATP video with the waist belt... I'll keep ya'll posted..... emoticon emoticon

Day 22 - took power away from scale.....down 7 lb. (in 3 weeks)

I remember it used to be easy enough to take off that much in one week at WW. But as they say, each decade of your life it gets harder and harder to get it off. But, I am telling myself that with the exercise this time, I am building muscle at the same time and it weighs more.. So maybe the next trick is to postpone weighing till only every 2-3 weeks. Definitely my body can lose, just proved that....

My reward, I bought some WW cakes last nite. I had one, the carrot one, not really much taste to them, but only 1 pt. on the old plan...

Breakfast - eggbeaters, mushrooms, green peppers and conqueso cheese, apple

    That is great Lila. You are really hitting your stride now. I'm on my 2nd day of basically following Core, I feel great so I'm glad I'm trying it this way. I'm still filling in my tracker because I want to keep track of my calories and carbs and see how they line up with my glucose readings.
