Thank you for those words of encouragement. You are the kind of person I gravitate to, someone with a upbeat personality. I like the way you roll... emoticon

Everyone is a person great!!!

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

I have realized through difficult learning challenges that everyone is perfect the way they are. The media confuses us by thinking we have to look a certain way to be beautiful but in fact we are already beautiful. I was insecure of my life at first but once I started to know who I was I become the great person that I am today. With having fallen to challenges I learned that you can always get up to try again. One horrible trait that I had was having to be great at everything I realized that I was not and that took a toll on my personality and myself. I can not remember what I was doing but I had an epiphany and since that day I have realized that it is ok to make mistakes because of my mistakes I grew to not make them again. My love (aka long life companion) embraced me with the appreciation of my family. When I started to appreciate my family I also started to appreciate the people around me whether I knew them or not. I can now say that "EVERYONE IS A GREAT PERSON"

You know what, the world is a better place just by that realization.

Keep up the good work and you are a great inspiration! :)

That is a lesson that is sometimes learned late in life. It is great that you learned it so early.
You will motivate others to learn that life lesson to be happy with who we are as individuals.
Thanks for sharing that .

Challenge yourself!!!

Saturday, January 10, 2009

To be strong you have to believe in yourself. Know that you can accomplish any task that is given to you. Give yourself inspirational guidance. What I do when I think I can't go on is I speak to myself and say "I am a strong person and because I am strong I know I will finish to the end" and " I believe I will finish and with all my might I will". Their are more I say but I can not remember at this moment. I know what usually guides me to finish is my inner strength and my inspirational guidance. You have to believe in yourself to accomplish goals. I know everyone is strong but you yourself have to know your strong. I know you will reach your goals but YOU have to know that your goals will be reached even before you think of your goals.

We all need a motivator

Sunday, January 04, 2009

Allow me to introduce myself my name is Stephanie and I am 22 years of age. I have finally decided to get motivated to lose weight. I have been thinking of losing weight but we all know how far that goes. My sisters wedding is coming up and I am one of the brides maid. I am actually excited that sister JacLyn will be perpetually happy. I tried on my brides maid dress and guess what happened the dress did not fit. Bummer! At first I felt awful I wanted to cry but then I realized I do need to get in shape to have a healthier body and life. My family and I decided that we all need to lose weight so we are competing to see who will lose the most weight. Which is actually exciting because seven people are involved in the competition and each of us will put in $20 dollars so whoever wins gets $140. Damn! Money is a great motivator. What I like is that we as a family are losing weight together and if one person gets unmotivated we as a family are there to motivate that person and in the end we will all be successful because we lost weight and our family bond will grow stronger.

Stephanie that is great that you have found a motivator, you are right we all need one. We are all motivated by something and we are all somewhat different, so it is great that you have one that will help you with your goals. The good part is your goal is specific in what you want to fit into your Brides maid dress. Is Measurable the dress fits or it does not. The goal is Achievable you can do this. Rewarding as it will feel great to wear the dress and to win the money. It is also time bounded and timely. These all amount to S.M.A.R.T. that makes you accountable for them and gives you a way to track your actions.
Keep us informed of your progress.
