Yesterday's SparkCoach challenge was to carry a water bottle with you all day. It didn't specifically state you had to drink it, just carry it. Well, I did it and was surprised that I drank even more water than usual and was really surprised that I enjoyed having it with me. My only problem was that the kids wanted to drink from my bottle rather than theirs, so I had to have 3 bottles and keep washing them, especially since Gwen has a bit of a runny nose.
Yesterday morning I weighed 127.2, tieing my lowest weigh in of 2012, and just 1.2 pounds over what I call my "happy weight". I'm not sure that is what I should call it, because I can be happy at other weights, too. But I do like that feeling I'm beginning to feel, especially in the core, of being tight and lean!
Today's challenge involves thinking about and then writing long term goals. I'm going to have to give that one some thought. Maintaining around 126 may or may not prove to be a good long term weight goal, but I probably need some other life goals. Now that I'm retired I'm not as goal oriented, but it could be a good thing. Hmmm.....
