Here's the picture that got my attention:
I had planned a gentle walk for my exercise Tuesday, but my Living, Losing, and Loving It group was going to yoga. Can't say we quite looked like that picture, but we did 75 minutes of yoga. There were 27 people in the class, including these 7 from the LL&LI Weight Watchers Activity Adventures. Also pictured, second from left on the bottom, is the teacher, Michelle.
I knew the child pose stretch is a yoga move, but was surprised to find out that bridges, an exercise I learned through SparkPeople, is also a yoga pose. Even though I'd never done a yoga class before it did not seem as foreign as I thought it would. I was warned I'd be sore today, but don't think I am.
Think I'll lace up my shoes and jump on my at-home treadmill this morning before the kids come. I suspect Gwen is probably still too sniffly to go to the Y nursery. I best get on it! Have a healthy, happy day, SparkFriends!!
