I had a craving for something sweet over the weekend, and we had bought my daughter a bag of hostess choc frosted mini donuts, she likes these on occasion and we only buy them every now and then. So I had three mini donuts, no harm done right? Ooh and let me tell you they were deliciously sinful. Well while I was eating the last of my three, I decided to look at the nutrition label - HOLY HAM, shoulda checked before I ate them. A WHOPPING 260 calories for three - thats 86 calories EACH. WOW !!!!!
Just wanted to SHOCK yall at the beginning of the week - no more teeny, tiny donuts for me. Hope everyone has a great week.

Got in a great tempo run last night, it started out kinda cold (32 degrees) but soon warmed up, boy did I need that.
I had today off - been decluttering the house. I feel like I am just surrounded by junk, so today was a great day to start "Operation Declutter". Started with my bedroom first, I don't remember the last time my bedroom has looked so clean and organized, still a few things to finish up. Cleaned hall closet, donated old coats to thrift store - as a matter of fact, I have two rooms full of leftover junk I'm donating, my entire trunk is full. Time to simply life, no more clutter. I'm even in the mood to start a new homemake over project. Want to paint my bedroom and get new carpet and a new comforter set. We've been living here for six years now and all my little projects are pretty much done, except the bedroom. Feeling the need to have "fresh" stuff. Weird eh?
Anyway got a lot of cleaning done today, food shopping at Walmart, even managed to swing by Bath and Body Works for the Semi-Annual sale, bought lots of handsoap (I just love BBW soap) and I splurged on a $2.00 lip gloss, woo hoo.
Waiting for sis to get home so we can do Kenpo, then a lovely dinner of honey mustard porkchops, baked potato and lima beans and a quiet evening.
Bet once I sit down on the couch to relax tonight, i will be zonked. Been a very productive day - hope everyone is enjoying a productive day too.

Last night worked out with the back and biceps DVD, I used the new 12 pound weights and pull-up bar Santa brought me. It was quite a grueling workout with those heavy weights, so this is gonna be quite a challenge, but finished the whole workout and then did the AB Ripper X - 75 minute workout - DONE.
Made my fav dinner last night - tuna cakes and broccoli. You can find the recipe for these yummy tuna cakes at kraftfoods.com - they have a lot of great recipes. Only 160 calories each - so I had two and a cup of broccoli to go with it. So filling and satisfying.
Managed to put away 1/3 of Christmas decorations last night, watch my fav TV show "Meet the Browns", so hilarious, we all need a good laugh and enjoyed a chocolate/strawberry protein milkshake for dessert.
So all in all, yesterday was a great day. Today.. really super stinking busy at work, 4-mile run after work (if it's not raining), then finish with the Christmas decorations. I hate having projects and tasks half-done, I will be so glad to have my house back in order.
P.S. Teresa - I'm still gonna let a few dust bunnies hang around in the bathroom a little longer, lol.

My house looks like a cyclone hit it. My family just left after a week long visit from UT - we had a great time. I have to clean up and put away the Christmas decorations, move furniture around and just give it a general, overall cleaning. I hate my house being cluttered - it puts me in a panic mode. So tonight I am gonna get to it right after dinner. Crank up the tunes and do a cardio house cleaning. WOO HOO !!! I think once the house is clean, I will be back to my old self, I will be in a happy, chipper, "go get um mood", I hate being surrounded by clutter.
