Yesterday I was off all day, went shopping, and to do some power lifting at the gym, and rode stationary bike on the mountain climbing setting, sheesh that was tough, chilled out and watched a movie.
Saturday a.m. - couldn't wait to do a weigh in until Monday, so I stepped on it and SHO NUFF, one more pound gone - only ten to go.
Completed a 8 mile run this morning with my sister and then came home for a 25 minute yoga DVD. Now off to get a hair cutt, spend some Kohl's cash and who knows what else I'll get into today, bet it's not gonna be any more running today.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far, I still have three more days off - YEAH for a Holiday.

We started a new round of kickboxing last night in class (TurboJam 42). I can totally say I was lost most of the time, but I wasn't alone, everyone was lost. It's hard to learn a new routine, heck, I just got pretty good at the last one and now she changed it on us. So last night was a big learning curve, so I didn't really feel like I got too great of a workout, since most of the time I was looking like an idiot, waving my arms around wildly, and then just stopping and staring, scratching my head, saying, huh?
Oh well, at least I know next week will be better, I can at least practice the new moves before next time.
The AB class was pretty good last night, I didn't fall off my BOSU at all (and yes, this is so funny to see my big behind roll right off, I'm not really good with balance yet, this is a new torture device I'm learning). Hopefully I will be able to master it, I've at least improved from last week, I could stand up on it without falling off and that's quite an accomplishment.
I had to laugh at myself last night, feeling like a rolly-polly on the bosu and looking like a deranged idiot during kickboxing.
Glad I can take things lightly and laugh at myself, it's good to laugh. Can you laugh at yourself?

Just wanted to say thanks to an SP buddy for something she posted on her status this morning. She says. "You can do more than you think you can".
I'm feeling like I'm in a rut today, just generally bored, tired of the same ole same ole and then I read her status. So now I'm thinking what more can I do? I'm gonna think about that all day and come up with something good.
Thanks buddy, you turned on the light switch for me today.

I used to tease my grandson when I would buy him new shoes, I would always tell him they made him run faster and jump higher, he thought that was so cool when he was three years old.
I bought new shoes over the weekend, and tried them out this morning. They really do make you run faster, I shaved three minutes off my running time this morning. Seriously, I never thought new shoes could really make you run faster but it works, felt like I was just bouncing and springing off the pavement.
I guess these new kicks will be good for about 3 months, and then time for new ones. That's the biggest expense with running, you have to replace your shoes alot more frequently. It definitely makes a difference.

Close: I am only 11 pounds away from goal weight;
Excited: I am SO excited to be only 11 pounds away from the finish line.
In Trouble: I ditched my sister for a run this morning, I chose to sleep in - and boy, am I in trouble, she'll probably ground me, lol. (Yes, it was worth being grounded for). Just couldn't get outta bed, probably didn't have anything to do with the fact that I was up 2 hours past my normal bedtime. Finally go to see the movie EXPENDABLES and WOW was it super fantastic. I knew I was in trouble when I went to see an 8 p.m. movie (yeah for us ole people, that's late) so I didn't get home until after 10:00 then had trouble unwinding from such an action packed movie. Had to watch the last of the Steeler game too, so lights out at 11:15 - wow, that sounds like a good excuse to me - 4-1/2 hrs is not quality sleep so that's why I slept in, yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking too it.
No excuses for tomorrow, I'll be back it, need some serious interval training.
