Third Week

July 22 - 28

Actually, this is a bit latish entry. Have been busy with planning and organizing a big social event.. It went great but took lots of my energy. As a result, my exercise routine suffered somewhat. Been including lots of walking. AND, as of today new dance routines. It's so much breathless fun! I *need* 2 feel the burn.

I really want to jog more, perhaps on mornings. And, as for progress my tummy looks flatter!

Need to work on some other parts...

Second Week

July 15-21st

So, I have been eating more healthy. Incorporated a variety of soups to my diet (just amazing how many different types of soups there are out there) Well, I have also been exploring various tea options, I just love teas!

I did have one setback though...have been craving these and snacking like crazy!



I just love the strawberry and blueberry ones.

Another thing, my exercise routine is getting boring. Must find different work-out regimes to keep stimulated.I'm open to suggestions :)

NEW ADDITON: FRUITS.

    Hi Debs,

Thank you for dropping by and for the great advice. I haven't been diagnosed with diabetes but it's in the family, so trying to be careful just in case, taking preventative measures etc. I luvvv teas, so i'm happy for the extra bonus *winks*.

Sometimes i replace sugar with honey or drink it with none. Going brave, as they say emoticon

  They say that meals that start with a non-cream based soup can help with your weight loss. Teas are good for you too. They have been known to aid weight loss and reduce the risk of diabetes II. They are also full of antioxidants. Just watch out for any added sugar.

First Week

July 8th-14th:



The first week, I am pumped with energy for sure. Have been exercising about 30-40 minutes per day, jogging, lifting-weights, walking, some aerobics ...how much weight I have lost? Basically, none...arghhhhh! Of course, I shouldn't expect to lose weight over night, when they were gained, over a number of careless days in sinful indulgence splurging on, desserts; cheesecakes, chocolates, pizzas, fries...*sigh*.

Got to feel the burn and need to challenge myself more.

This week diet change combination:

No sodas
No *sinful indulgences*
Lots of Vegetables and Fruits
Continue drinking lots of water.

    Thanks for your comment and advices. Exhaustion was a setback but I feel satisfied, though I must admit that at times I need some good kicks to get going..haha.

My aim is to blog weekly on my weight loss :)

I think there's a journal somewhere, I can use...still have to properly explore the site...see what's available..

  Well done for getting the exercise in though.

Don't overly focus on the scales. Just think what other benefits you have given your body with the effort you have put in so far. Also you'll lose more weight through dieting than exercise so make sure you are getting a good balance between eating and exercise.

Pizzas, cheesecake and fries. You just detailed some of my favourite foods. I feel hungry now!!
